I had a long-distance relationship (I'm married to him now) and I had to train myself to put a brake on my heart.…
Oh my... but I'm delighted to hear that he's better, dear β€οΈ Must have been a hard time π’
Absolutely! It's never too much to be thankful that we're still with our loved ones. We never know what will happen in life and I do have to remind myself to be thankful everyday as well. It's too easy to gloom over bad days, but sometimes hard to cherish every day β€οΈ
Okay, gotta stop coming back and commenting but just one more scene I absolutely adored π While SSC trained/taught LYA in the fitness room he could've easily taken advantage of that and initiate physical touch while correcting her posture. But he was so damn courteous and respected the boundaries she set up. He avoided touching her and just touched her once slightly with his finger tips. The greenest flag ever!
Also loved how relatable LYA was while exercising π
I also think it was one of the most heartfelt confession scenes ever. I was kinda "eh?" at her initial reaction…
I think there are actually no dramas which I can compare to "Meet Yourself". But it's one of the most natural romance stories I've ever seen. But romance is not the focus of the drama. It's slice of life and heavily character-driven.
Highly recommended as I see that u liked the same writers drama "Go Ahead". But I wouldn't bingewatched "Meet Yourself" tho. I watched two eps per day after work and it felt healing and relaxing :)
Don't know about others but I am liking this series more than ' Road Home' .. though it too was a good one π…
I liked Road Home, but the reason I prefer this one, is because the relationship here feels more natural and well-developed to me. I can totally understand how and why the couple fall in love with each other... as for Road Home.. not so much.
Don't get me wrong. The pairing in Road Home had chemistry and the natural skinship was beautiful, but I just couldn't immerse myself in the couple, because they fell in love at first sight and it just felt too overly forced "romantic" and superficial to me. The ML didn't seem to be the type to fall for physical appearance first, but he did anyway. They were already head over heels for each other before even having a real conversation. Still a good drama tho π

I do fully agree with u! That logic explanation is on point! She was harsh, but also totally understandable reaction of hers. I can understand her point of view perfectly as I'm also in my thirties and can't imagine myself being in a relationship with a guy 10 years younger than me. And all her focus is on her new job as a manager as well... ofc she can't deal with a relationship at the moment. I guess I was just heartbroken for him as he was honestly pouring his heart out π
Ep 15... just had to come while watching because my heart broke into a million pieces after Liang You An rejected Song San Chuan's beautiful confession so harshly...
That was one of the most beautiful and heartfelt confessions ever and she kinda scoffed at him. I mean I still love her, but she was not honest to herself and mean as well for laughing π Why u do that to him? I knew she was gonna reject him, but I didn't like how she did it? So seemingly nonchalant as if she doesn't take him seriously, just because he is 10 years younger. I felt so bad for him... After he struggled to sleep that night, arrived almost two hours earlier, they had a beautiful day together, he mustered up the courage and told her how he felt honestly with teary eyes...and she broke him and ME as well π
Hope she's gonna have at least a few regretful nights until she realizes that she was not honest with herself... But I'm not saying she was wrong in everything she said. It was just really harsh. There are some truths... he out pressure on her for saying that he wanted to win for her. Be her champion. Of course she can't be responsible for that or be his motivation for Tennis. But she also was not honest with her feelings.
Struggling to watch further because I'm heartbroken for him π
thinking about watching is it any good ?big age gap?lots of sports and life (like racket boys) or more focused…
So far it's a really enjoyable drama with good pacing and writing. The main couple has an age gap of 10 years in the drama. FL is 32 and ML 22, but I don't really feel the gap. (The actors just have 5 year age difference). They also look the same age. They are both really mature and complement each other a lot. Their chemistry is also really strong. It's a mature and natural built up of their relationship.
I'd say it's more slice of life so far and not so heavy on the sport part, but for me it's a good balance. They didn't dive deep into every side character's story yet, so far it's focused on four characters the most. Liang You An, Song San Chuan, Liang Tao and Jiang Jiao Jiao.
I'd say give it a try and find out yourself if it's fits your taste :) I like it a lot so far.
I have seen a lot of dramas where they ask people to chug alcohol to show respect. Like bfr, respect to who?
Maybe it's an east asian culture thing? Drinking culture seem to be a heavy topic especially in business world or workspace. I've seen that in a lot of east asian dramas. Maybe it has something to do with resilience and how far you're willing to go to show "respect". But for me it feels more of a dominance thing so the other feels superior to you.
I've always found it ridiculous, but I wasn't born in such a culture so I wouldn't know better and how important it is to that culture or society.
Just finished watching ep 11 and 12 and the episodes are getting better and better! Very good pacing and writing of story, characters and romance! The build up of the tennis club bond is really great, inspirational and I'm looking forward for more!
But tbh I still don't like Liang Tao and Jiang Jiao Jiao. I couldn't care less about their individual scenes or couple scenes. Both are still annoying spoiled brats. Hope they get less screen time haha π Liang Tao's influencer career story is by far the most boring part for me... π
omgosh just had come here, because I'm stuck at ep 12 watching that drunk scene in the car π That was one of the most funniest scenes I've seen recently! Can't stop replaying it hahaha Liang You An'a drunk antics are too cute and funny. I'm falling in love with the female lead more and more! She's the best character for me so far. I love her and I totally understand how smitten ML is by her β€οΈ
