Chief Han has my heart in turmoil. I initially just wanted sis to go find her families killers, clear her name…
Yeah, I wouldn't mind them together instead of Crown Prince.
Chief Han trusts her or is rather loyal to his fiancee even tho he has never met her after they grew up... This is admirable and I like him for that.

Crown Prince on the other side still can't think for himself and is so easily manipulated, even tho he already went through some sh*t with her.... I don't even need him to trust her completely but at least he could use his brain for once.

Yes! After last week's episodes I thought we are going forward with their characters, but Yi Hwan went thousands steps back again today.

It annoyed me so much and he seemed especially bipolar to me this episode. At night he was telling everyone to drag her out, ban her from the eastern palace and was utterly furious and crying because he "trusted" her so much and right the next morning he'd ask his underling where she is and if she slept well... >_<

Ep 7 was such a badly written filler episode :'( Wtf was the point of that episode at all? Could have just watched…
What a fast downgrade or more reserve development of Crown Prince's character. Why did they write him in such a dumb way? I had to laugh every time he pitifully talked about how much he "trusted" her lol... he didn't trust her one bit. If he did, he would've at least question that stupid suicide letter or let her explain herself. But he dragged her out right away "I won't listen to you blablabla" after bombarding her with questions how she should explain herself. And when she opened her mouth, he childishly was like "No, I won't listen to you." Not sure if that was actually his jealousy speaking out of him...

And then that talk with Han Sung On. Crown Prince: "She is a murderer and killed her whole family. Why do you still trust her?" 5 seconds later "I will protect her, because she's my master's daughter. I will protect her, if the's able to prove her innocence." WHAT DUMB FREAKIN WRITING IS THAT? And how is she able to prove her innocence, when she will get executed right away, when she comes back? DUH! And can you please make up your mind? How fickle minded they wrote him... Is that why this drama has 20 episodes?

And after he kicked her out he actually starts to use his brain and investigate that incident...and crawls back to her because he felt bad and regrets how impulsive and stupid he was.

I absolutely disliked how they switched so fast from utterly despair of distrust to comedy relief scenes again to make those dramatic scenes less harsh and they just vanish... like PUFF! Just so they can force a bit of romance and skinship in the last 10 seconds on us...

Bad writing this episode... Really bad writing...

That was a wild ride....but I'm not happy with the ending. I hoped for a more "makjang" fitting ending, but they just had to pull the forced forgiveness happy ending. I think I'd have given a better rating if at least some of the big events had consequences, but everyone just lived happy ever after... BULLSH*T!

I didn't feel an ounce of sympathy for Eun Kang until the end. She was two-faced, manipulative and felt like a psycho most of the time. One scene she would be crying, begging and pitifully rub her poor upbringing in everyones faces with that victim mentality of hers. Then next scene she would be there with a complete straight face. Wow... she gave me the creeps. I couldn't take any of her crying scenes serious, because she always looked like she was putting on a show and faked it. The only time she was crying where I felt she was sincere was in ep 20 when she witnesses Ba Da and Ba Da's mother in front of the school with that banner. The silent tears running down her face were the only tears I felt were sincere. She didn't deserve to reunite with Cha Won... And she didn't lose anything in the end even tho she destroyed one person's family and career....There were no consequences.. She managed to live far away from her poor family, started to teach again, met Cha Won again and even had Ba Da's forgiveness... Lucky psycho, Eun Kang! Her poor upbringing didn't justify her behaviour and evil plotting at all for me.

And Ba Da was Ba Dass! She was seriously the bigger person. Just like her name, Sea. I wish she would've pulled her revenge through but she had too much of a conscience and Eun Kang still meant a lot to her. I really loved how classy she was till the end. She deserved better than a coward like Cha Won.

Cha Won was so bland... don't know what to write about him. He was a coward and I didn't really know what he saw in Eun Kang. Just felt like pity to me and he had that doctor saviour hero mentality. Can't convince me that was love...

Last but not least, my favourite Eun San! She really had a way to make me feel for her. I loved her and her love for Nam Cheol felt sincere and pure to me. She was in no way an angel and flawless, but she was straightforward, honest and brave... unlike her sister.

Overall enjoyable makjang drama :)

I waited for this drama to end so as to start to watch. Now I feel good that i didn't watch. Right now i am watching…
The ML in Love Heals/Have a Crush on you was such a HUGE red flag for me, that's why I dropped it at ep 19. I wished I could've like him, but I really don't see how people could root for the main couple again, after ML didn't even do the bare minimum to become a better person.

Agreed, though it must be said that I've never seen a romcom lead couple more deserving of breaking up and staying…
Yes! I also hated that "dying-mother-forgiveness"-trope... I just absolutely loathe that Asian dramas do this all the time. Parents give their children irreparable pain and suffering, but once that parent is in danger, everything is forgiven and forgotten. ABSOLUTE BS! She was the main cause why he got that avoidant personality disorder in the first place.

I rated this low last week but I really liked the ending, so I'm gonna give it a better rating now. I think this ending was the best this drama could get! I can understand if people were not satisfied with it. Dramas tend to be too realistic and upsetting lately, but sometimes we just want a comfort drama or something more happy than real life... but this drama wasn't this kind of drama.

This drama was frustrating and depressing af til the end. Maybe I expected too much actual romance, but it felt more like a slice-of-life. And I should have accepted that much earlier. In the end I accepted it and I felt much better about this drama.

Eun Beom was such a frustrating character and I didn't like him...but avoidant issues hit home for me... Maybe that's why I had the huge urge to scream at him, because I kinda saw myself. I'm happy he decided to get therapy. That's what he needs the most right now. The last two episodes I could really feel how anxious, nervous and stressed he was. He was full of regrets and I could literally feel it. Awesome acting!

And I'm also glad that Ha Ra gave herself a break and a new environment. This was highly needed.

I'm really satisfied with the ending!

But please let Jang Seung Jo be in an actual romance drama the next time!!! I want to see him in a lovey-dovey and romantic kind of drama! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Just bingewatched this drama until ep 18... been awhile that I've watched a makjang and this one really hooked me for some reason lol Everyone...really every character is freakin messed up and that was weirdly intriguing. The only sane ones are the young kids.

But Eun Kang really takes the crown for me. She's totally mental and feels like a psychopath with a heavy victim mentality. The only time I felt that she was sincere was her talk with Ba Da in that cafรฉ in ep 17. But I don't hate her... find her extremely creepy, but also understand her in some way?! Hahaha I don't know... she's a really interesting antagonist. But definitely a crazy mental one. She should see a therapist...but actually everyone in this drama should.

The only character I really liked was actually Eun San. She felt the most sincere to me and her acting was so good! The only character who brought me to tears. Well, she was also kinda messed up, but I liked her the most.

I enjoyed this Makjang with those messed up characters. Curious how they will end it. Someone has to die or it won't fit the Makjang vibe ๐Ÿ˜‚

please donโ€™t tell me the crown prince is gonna get all mad because of that suicide letter. we donโ€™t know the…
I also hope the Crown Prince is not gonna turn his back on her just because of an unreliable suicide letter. This will make him look stupid and easily manipulated. Even if he's not trusting her 100% now, he should be able to know that there is more behind it.

Maybe Shim Young really did love Jae Yi. She saved him, they grew up together, he taught her how to fight. She just saw him as a brother, but still cared for him. They shared a friendship bracelet or something like that. I hope there is a good explanation and that he wasn't actually bad. I actually loved the snippet of them being friends back then... Sad that he is also dead now.... but maybe he was really bad...

Im also confused ab that!! i thought the last few eps like the investigation of the blood dripping from the crown…
Exactly. That scene with the shaman and her inhaling that incense smoke looked supernatural to me... Maybe they just wanted to exaggerate that scene and in real she just smelled that incense lol But I have no realistic explanation for the white hair ๐Ÿ˜‚

Did this drama turn into fantasy? What's with the sorcery, shamans and white hair? ๐Ÿ˜… I thought this was just a historical mystery drama, nothing supernatural.... Or is there poison in the incense which drives people crazy and turn their hair white...

Can anyone tell me if ML is gonna get better? Or will he stay being this arrogant and rude? I'm on ep 12 and if ML isn't going to change or at least try hard to get her back then I don't see any hope for this drama.

Can anyone please explain to me how they are able to root for the main leads to get together again? What nice thing did he actually do for her in the past or the present? And I mean as a couple not as doctors. I can just recall one nice gesture back then when they just got married and he treated her heels and in the present when he made coffee for her lol And this bare minimum is just about it. Can someone explain to me why you would go back to someone like Ning Zhi Qian? Take away his handsome face, would you still root for him? I'm genuinely curious!!!

He doesn't even seem to love or desire her. It seems he just misses how comfortable and convenient it was with her. And wishes for his son to have a family or rather a mother. She is kindhearted and loving, so makes it the perfect fit as a mother. I don't see him loving her for who she is.

And FL is also annoying the heck out of me how she still bends for him all the time. Not sure if this is really love or kind of stockholm syndrome >_<

Title Have a Crush on You Spoiler
9 episodes in and I just can't watch any further. The ML is trash! Absolutely horrible! Their horrible toxic marriage in parallel to the present makes this even harder to watch. I'm really baffled at how many people especially WOMEN justify his behavior. Even put fault on her! The only mistake she made was marrying him knowing that he didn't love her back then. But she was young and naive and thought that she could make him fall for her. How are people saying she was clingy? I'm gonna riot. How exactly was she clingy? By making him food everyday and her friendliness freaked him out? wtf... The least he could've done was talk to her. How was she clingy, when she let him be in the US for more than a year and he never visited or actually cared for her. Hell! didn't even tell her that he was going to the US...

He married her saying he would be good to her! But wtf?! He was and still is a selfish and narcissistic coward unable to communicate his feelings..

She was a kind hearted girl and didn't deserve jacka** like him. So I find the present even harder to watch... how he's so shameless trying to get her back as if he deserves her.... have the huge urge to puke when I see him flirting with her. And even uses his son to manipulate to get near her. HORRIBLE! How can I ship this in the future when I'm so disgusted by the ML?

If they really make the FL fall for him again by him doing the absolute bare minimum... then I just want to slap some writers. I'm so angry!!!! Is he gonna redeem himself?
I need to know. If not, I might have to give up, even tho the cast is awesome and I actually did like the storyline... but if she's gonna take him back just like that. I will hate her too.
