Much better rating than 8.5? It seems rather good as of episode 7, but that is a wee bit of an exaggeration. (plus…
imo this drama deserves at least a 9.0 as of ep 22 ... everyone has different tastes and opinions 😊 Why do you think people would rate this high if they don't like it and be dishonest with their rating?
I rated it 10 as of now. Because for me that's exactly how I feel about this drama right now.

Didn't know I'd love this drama this much! Even tho I can't understand Chinese I just had to watch the latest episodes raw because I'm so impatient... It's so so beautiful and I'm mesmerized by the lead couple conversations and the progress of their relationship. This is such a rare gem.

And isn't Crystal Liu so beautiful? I'm always in awe of her beauty. I've watched quite some Chinese dramas and I think she is the most beautiful I've seen so far ❤️

I rarely rate dramas while they're still airing, but I just had to rate this drama now, in hope that more people are gonna be aware of this masterpiece 😊

I feel bad for Ma Xiao Yi... always moving and having to adapt to a new environment, school and people :'( Ep 20 and 21 were kind of sad...

This drama is just golden! I loved ep 14 and 15 so much!

First crying bucket of tears because of granny crying at the grave of her late husband and Dad Xie crying at the grave of his late wife T-T
And then laughing so much while watching the tea tasting by Mr. Ma XD

I came to this drama after Hi Venus and I see is from the same screenwriter and here the ML is also very friendly,…
I highly recommend to watch Go Ahead :) It's my all-time favourite Cdrama. Both male leads are kind 😊

Zhi Yao is already so smitten by her. His lovingly gaze every time he looks at Hong Dou is so sweet ❤️

i LOVE seeing a non spoilery intro
Amen! It annoys me how Chinese dramas spoil everything in their intros and outros. When I start to watch them I always skip the intro xD

This is exactly the kind of drama that I need right now. I see a lot of people complaining about 40 episodes, but I'm so happy that we get 1-2 episodes a day for the next three weeks. Yes, it's a slow-paced drama, but it's just so healing to watch this after work.

After AOS2 ended I felt kinda empty and sad and there was no drama to fill the void, but Meet Yourself is so calm and heartwarming that I just feel so happy and content.

I absolutely adore the leads and I'm a sucker for slow burn romances so I'm really anticipating how Hong Dou and Zhi Yao gonna gradually get close to each other. The atmosphere of this drama is so healing. I love when the villagers come together to talk about their lives and I looooove Granny Xie so much. She is so adorable and lovely.

Hong Dou didn't even stay that long in the village yet but she was practically already adopted by the whole community and of course the Xie family. I love the bond she has with Granny Xie.

It's hard to wait for subs, but I'm so thankful that we're getting subs at all. I wish I could understand mandarin/chinese as much as I understand Korean, then I wouldn't have to wait for subs T-T

LJW: “I was thankful & happy because of Buyeon, Naksu, & Cho Yeong. It must have been so hard to come in, but…
Awww... my delusional ship. Can they just get together for real?! XD I'm too old for shipping but those two really make me root for them in real life lol

You can feel how much the cast enjoyed being part of this drama and it brings me to tears T-T Everyone is writing a love farewell letter to this drama and it's actors on insta and it's so endearing. Min Hyun and Seung Ho crying in the BTS broke my heart :'(

One thing that kind of bothered me...if Jang Uk had to kill every single soul shifter out there, wouldn't Master Lee be included in that? So that soul-shifting is really gone for good...

At the unanimous assembly Naksu said that there was still one remaining soul shifter(her), but that wasn't true. Master Lee is also one. Even tho he mastered Hwansu and won't run wild, I think it was still a misinformation in that actual scene.

All I wanted to see was: 1. When he realised who she was they were in the thick of battle, but afterwards when…
Oh, my thoughts exactly! I'd have loved a more emotional and heart wrenching reunion. It was just too anti-climatic for me...
And also them interacting as a couple with the others cast would've been such an endearing scene T-T

Overall good ending, not great but could be better. Idk I don’t feel satisfied for some reason. I’m just glad…
Agree. I also felt they didn't handle the revelation of Naksu and their reunion well. This was actually my most anticipated climax of pt 2 after their tragic ending in pt 1, but it was so easily brushed aside which left me with an unsatisfying feeling even tho I'm happy about the happy ending... this left a bitter taste because the actors are incredible and could've easily handled a more emotional scene. Even Seo Yul finding out about Naksu was more emotional and had a more natural built up and better reaction, which was quite odd for me.

Jae Wook is such an incredible actor and I'm sure they could've made the reunion much more emotional. Even the behind the scenes were more emotional because Uk was crying all the time, but in the scenes he actually had to hold back his tears, which was kinda less emotional.

EP 10 BTS 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DHwejMqSj02 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S0bscKyuJ8
The BTS seem much more emotional than the actual scenes. How many times Uk had to hold back his tears even tho I think it would've fit the scene so well. I actually think the actual scenes should've been much more emotional and I see that Uk had to actually hold him back so it's less emotional....kinda a shame. The last two episodes actually needed more shown emotions imo....

Hong Sisters really have a way of destroying their own dramas in the worst... ep 9 was so badly written. Such a mess. It actually breaks my heart that such an amazing drama went downhill like that. I had quite a blast with AOS half of last year. It just saddens me deeply that it came down to this. I'm not even mad, but just really heartbroken and disappointed.

It's quite a shame that so many dramas lately are written so badly in the end. I thought bad endings would stay in 2022, but nope... here we go again. I wouldn't even have minded a sad ending, but this was so messy and unreasonable. They killed off three major characters in the last 20 seconds just like that? u kidding me right? I really hope it's not true and there is some kind of plot twist to it.

And Jang Uk finally finding out that she is Naksu was so underwhelming... that was what all of us had been anticipating the whole season. But they just had to put the noble idiocy "feign ignorance" card... Which is so out of character for both of them. They never cared about the world before, but now Jang Uk suddenly has to be the hero of the world even tho he never wanted to be and they just decided to stay away from each other until Naksu suddenly changed her mind and wanted him to come and find her, so they could make out while everyone else was dying lol Naksu had one job: To kill Jin Mu, but no, they just had to let him "wither" away instead of making sure he is really dead.

Oh man...the more I think about ep 9 the more ridiculous I find it.. Maybe I should quit dramas for some time? They hurt me more than break ups lol

I've loved this drama so much and wanted to rewatch it in the future, but why.... why do they always have to ruin everything in the end? I just don't understand what those writers are thinking... at all...I'm sad :'(

It's very rare to see a nice City Girl/Boy and nice villagers in a drama...In most of the dramas one of them will…
Yeah totally! Village story was kinda a turnoff for me after all those annoying villagers in other dramas, but here they seems to be so heartily. It's refreshing and wholesome :)

I'm such an avid fan of Go Ahead, so I couldn't wait until everything is out and subbed >_< I really liked the first two episodes. The acting is natural and authentic and the story is good so far. It's like a slice of life drama with wholehearted characters just how I loved it in Go Ahead. It's slow but still engaging for me.

And I was so delighted to see our best dad of Go Ahead to be here as well. I can already sense he's gonna be as wise here as well even tho he didn't get to speak a word yet XD

Is it funny? I real hate forced comedy in dramas, like in almost every Chinese drama...
IMO it's almost kinda slap-stick comedy (feels forced sometimes). Not always my kind of humor, but I still like the drama overall and you should give it a try :)
