ABSOLUTELY P.E.R.F..E.C.T! This was wholeheartedly one of the dramas I enjoyed the most recently. I'm so so so sad it's over, but also incredibly happy, because it was SO good! They really made me bawl my eyes out in the last ep, but also made me smile and laugh like a lunatic haha
I will miss this so much! As much as I would love a second season, I'm really satisfied if they wrapped this beautiful story up like this. I could watch dozen more episodes of our lovely residents, but I'm really content with this ending! ❤️
Thinking about how close we came to never seeing this gem makes me appreciate it even more. A huge thank you and massive applause to everyone involved in creating such a wonderful drama!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He might become the enemy of the Wei but he could also take the path to protect the Wei if he knows his mother…
I really hope he's gonna be a good guy, because I really don't see how Bianzhou (Chen family) is treating him any better than Wei family... If he already knows that his mother was taken by force and still supports Chen family, then he's just as cruel as his father...
Shi Yuan and his constant pity party are seriously getting on my nerves... Like, when exactly did the Wei family ever treat him badly? Sure, they aren't controlling him as tightly as Wei Shao, but that doesn’t mean they don’t care about him. What exactly does he want... more restrictions, so that he feel loved?
If he's really going down the villain path, I genuinely feel terrible for his poor late mother, who had him after being assaulted by that Bianzhaou bastard...
I love how Wei Shao keeps getting marriage advice from Advisor Gongsun Yang lol It's adorable and their bond is just so wholesome ❤️ I mostly know this actor from villain roles, so I'm a little nervous about his character. Please don't let him secretly be a backstabbing villain! >_<
Just finished ep. 11 but already rewatching some scenes lol I'm hopeless hahaha
I loved the scene so much where Jae Il teased Do Won about going to the "Outpatient Care". The acting of both of them was so good, I still laugh so hard while watching that scene haha Kang You Seok's expressions are spot on. He's made for comedy lol Also Do Won being startled by the new nurse at the station was funny af as well... My gosh... I will miss this drama soooo much 😭
I don't want to say goodbye to this drama 😭 I love all of the leads! And Jae Il just became my favourite and how could they introduce his love line with Sabi so late! Jae Il is seriously so Ik-Jun coded, that one can't but just love him lol
Seriously, I think they did awesome with every single lead character. I love all of them! ❤️ I will miss this sooooo much! Weekends will feel so empty now 🥲 I really wish there would be my Kdramas with a vibe like this...
He kissed her she didn't kiss him back but yeah I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea it depicts complicated…
She closed her eyes shortly... that is kissing back for me 👀 And she let him lick her fingers... If that's what you call complicated relationships, so be it lol
Hmm, unfortunately, this wasn't my cup of tea... I was really looking forward to LJW's new drama since I genuinely love his acting, but sadly, this didn't click with me. Maybe it's because there were only 11 episodes, but I found the characters quite flat and the romance development was so weird.
Honestly, why did he fall for her so fast and how did she fall so deeply for him out of nowhere?! I surely can't be the only one thinking the romance was the weakest aspect of this drama 👀 Also, it was so weird that she had feelings for him while still suspecting he might be her brother... they even kissed twice while she thought he was Hong Rang and that finger-licking scene was just... nope, sorry, that was way too weird for me lol I mean their scenes were hot, but the romance was weird and I didn't feel much chemistry.
On the bright side, the acting was fantastic and the cinematography was beautiful, but the script itself felt weak to me... especially romance.
Ugh... Will I ever enjoy another LJW drama again? Haven't liked anything he's done since AOS. Well, Death's Game was great, but he only had a supporting role there.
Glad many people enjoyed this drama though! Just wasn't for me this time. Well, on to the next one :)
Just wrapped up my weekly rewatch of the latest two episodes and I think I enjoy this drama even more the second time around~ ❤️
With the show nearing its end, I just felt the need to publicly confess—once again—my massive crush on Do Won lol Every week I see some few people commenting on his looks and it always fascinates me how wildly different tastes can be, because I’m crushing so hard on this man! hahaha
In my 15 years of drama-watching, there are very few characters I could actually imagine falling for in real life… but Do Won? He’s so my type. Which is funny, because I don’t even have a type. But he might have just defined it for me 😂 He may not be your typical idol-type visually, but he’s still handsome, cute and ridiculously attractive. He radiates masculinity in the most comforting and softest way. He’s kind, supportive, calm, funny, sweet, sexy, but also so goofy and dorky ... honestly, he's the whole package and I could go on and on with those adjectives haha
Just had to get that off my chest before the drama ends and I’m forced to say goodbye to both the show and my weekly heart flutter ❤️🥲
Song Zu Er is pretty to begin with, but she looks absolutely stunning in those trailers!! I'm so excited for this one! Pls let it air soon and please let it be gooood!!!
I just finished WHC2 recently and Jo Jung Seok had a cameo there too, but as such a completely different character. He’s insanely versatile, it honestly blows my mind lol I need him back in more dramas ASAP!!
I'm confused. I can't recognise DoWon oppa. He's too different from chief resident Koo DoWon to recognise. They…
I actually don’t think he changed all that much. In the first couple of episodes, we already saw that he has a pretty dorky side outside of work. He was goofy and teased OIY even before they were a thing. Even OIY herself pointed out that he can be kind of thoughtless and clumsy when he is being her in-law, as opposed to when he is her senior at work.
But yeah, for most of the drama, we mainly saw him as the “mature” chief resident who acted distant after OIY confessed. So for some people, this shift might feel a bit sudden.
Of course, now that they’re dating, he’s way more lovey-dovey, but that goofiness was always there as long as it wasn’t in the workplace :D
Also, this drama skips through time a lot between episodes, so things can feel a bit rushed. By the end of ep. 9 and into ep. 10, they had already been dating for a month. I do wish we got to see more of the early stages of their relationship, but since this isn’t primarily a romance drama, the writers seem to be focusing more on the slice-of-life vibe and trying to fit their whole first year of residency into 12 episodes… which means we don’t get much of the actual dating moments or development on screen.
I'm so happy reading all the comments from people who are loving this beautiful drama! It really took its time to grow into something so heartwarming and enjoyable. Each lead character had their own meaningful development and the friendship dynamic is still evolving, but it's been such a wonderful journey. And the romance? Totally my cup of tea. It's always the dramas without a heavy romance focus that somehow have the best chemistry lol
We've grown so comfortable with these characters, it’s honestly sad that it’ll all come to an end next weekend 🥲 I really wish there were more K-dramas with this kind of genre and vibe...
Prayer circle for HP3 and RP2 🙏 These creators just know how to do dramas haha
So you think that’s it, there won’t be another one? 😢
Since it's not a romance drama, I actually doubt they will give us a proper kiss. Creators were also pretty stingy with some HP couples, so... we shouldn't get our hopes up :')
I'm kinda disappointed we got that kind of fake kiss... Especially when it's the first kiss. Seems like we won't get a proper kiss from them at all.
Sad :( I'm so invested in this couple, so that left a bit of a bad taste for my ship lol Well, they were still totally cute, but still... disappointed.
