I hope Joo Yeong gets pregnant by the end of this drama. Must be hard on her to try for so long... Her husband is a total green flag as well. I feel they would be great parents. If she gets pregnant, then Do Won and OIY will have to move out eventually. Maybe they'll move together somewhere else š¤
If we ever get to know what kind of trouble OIY caused in that local hospital for her to quit/or get kicked out? Or where her deposit was used for a "good cause"... I guess I'm much more curious than Do Won, because her answers were so half-assed that I would've bombarded her more. We still don't know anything š
Thereās a lot of speculation that while OIYās sister and her bro-in-law are away on their 4-day trip, Joo Yeong and Yi Yeong's father will show up. It makes sense since the timeline is in September and Chuseok is at the end of the month. Honestly, I think itās very likely. No way the writers would let Yi Yeong and Do Won have the house to themselves. That would be way too scandalous for the creators lol
Iām super excited to see who they cast as the father tho. Hoping it will be an easter egg. A famous actor maybe. Would love to see Ryu Seung Ryong as the father lol Then this drama tops as the drama, that had the best cameos ever haha
I've grown so attached to all the characters that the thought of letting them go already makes me really reluctant. This drama took its time to build the story and develop everyone so beautifully. It hit such a perfect balance now and is really enjoyable, that I'm honestly so so so sad that it's almost over.
I can picture so many more stories with these characters. Even the minor roles with barely any screentime were so well-done. I wouldāve loved to see more of them too. I know itās wishful thinking, but I really hope they consider a second season. I think it did pretty well in Korea, ratings and recognition-wise...
Hospital Playlist S3 and Resident Playbook S2 are at the top of my wish list. Theyād make me so happy! I'm honestly just tired of all these mediocre romcoms coming out one after another... I need more slice-of-life dramas with just a touch of romance. They do that combo so well... why is there so little of it? š
Just finished this and really enjoyed it! The fight scenes were incredible, especially the rooftop battle between Si Eun and Geum Seong Je. I donāt usually watch many action dramas, since fight scenes often bore me lol But not here! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. And the acting? Absolutely top-notch!!
Park Ji Hoonās eyes were made for this kind of role. Itās honestly amazing how someone with such a cute and innocent appearance can be so intimidating just through his eye acting.
Also I know it comes down to personal taste which season people prefer, but for me, S1 is still unbeatable. Maybe itās because I gravitate more toward character depth than fast-paced, action-heavy storytelling. S1 felt character-driven, while S2 leaned more into plot. Itās hard to explain, but the characters in S1 had more depth and development. I think S2 needed more episodes to build the same kind of emotional connection and friendship dynamic. I just couldnāt connect to the bonds in S2 as much and the pacing felt off at times. It had potential to be even better with a longer run.
Still, a really solid sequel and definitely worth watching!
I love how DW is always smitten by OIY's chaotic antics. When she smiles lovingly, no reaction from him, but the moment she curses or does weird stuff like eating that crab legs, he has honey dripping from his eyes hahaha
I'm so proud of Jae Il! He's grown so much more confident but still kept all of his lovable charm. That scene with the intern describing their āunwell beingā cracked me up haha It was just them being themselves and their personalities. And then the comparison of each of them during a birth. I love how unique and quirky they all are.
The cameo was great too! I really missed Ik Sun. It wouldāve been perfect if she did her tissue bidulgi move, tho hahaha
"Donāt worry, Iām a famous doctor!ā LOOOL OIY is seriously the best! She had zero confidence but still gave it her all to reassure the mother that everything would be okay.
And the scene of her secretly devouring those marinated crab legs even though there is nothing to eat. Iām falling for OIY more and more. Sheās unintentionally hilarious, totally unhinged and chaotically lovable haha
Why is everyone in such a frenzy over the anesthesiologist? Thereās no love triangle here. Weāre watching a Shin PD drama, not some over-the-top makjang lol Heāll disappear just as quickly as he showed up. No need to worry haha
Honestly, I thought the moment between OIY and the anesthesiologist during the emergency delivery was really sweet. But heās clearly not a real rival to DW. If anything, maybe heās just here to give DW a little push to finally make a move.
Shin PD was right. Ep 7 really is a phenomenal episode!! I loved every second of it and repeated so many scenes. It took me two hours to watch this episode lol
I loved the scene where all departments came together and every single one of them were so supportive and emotional! Such a heart-warming and also funny scene! Was hilarious when OIY and that anesthesiologist hugged each other the second time hahahaha
That new OST by Kyungsoo is so so so beautiful! The melody, the lyrics and his voice ā¤ļø I already know I'm gonna listen to it on loop this week lol Already happy thinking about listening to it on the way to work tomorrow ā¤ļø
Yi Young cursing out that husband was hilarious and Do Won silently judging him from head to toe right behind him was funny af too lol His face was so judgy hahaha
Any patients or cases stand out for you in each episode?Patients were the core of HP. The acting there were phenomenal.…
Complaining about romance and romance comments but writing a whole paragraph about it lol
Well, I don't really agree with you. There are lots of comments about romance, but also plenty about the show overall.
And yeah, there's definitely more to life than just work. People are different and there will always be those who make time for love even in the busiest parts of their lives. No need to generalize.
I love Prof. Seo so much! She's strict, but always fair and such a good teacher. I loved the conversation between her and the patient who worries too much. That was so heartwarming ā¤ļø
If she gets pregnant, then Do Won and OIY will have to move out eventually. Maybe they'll move together somewhere else š¤
btw the car Do Won drives is so nice. The color is gorgeous! They did well with the car PPL lol
