By far my most favourite drama of the year, I had so much fun while watching. I laughed my heart out, even with tears running down my eyes. I also got emotional and sad at other times. I don't know what really clicked with me when it comes to this drama, but the combination of a crazy funny plot, with Liu Yuning looking the handsomest he's ever looked in his life (and he's always handsome!), and Li Yitong being so pretty and cute, and them having so much good chemistry, really really worked for me! And I even loved all the secondary characters, so endearing! Usually I get bored of people that aren't the main or second couple. Here? Even Nan Rui made me cry, dammit! And what to say about the emperor, or Song Yude? Their wives? The maids? The Nightwalkers? Epic script and characters.
A 10/10 from me, not because it didn't have flaws or it was perfect, but because it was SO ENTERTAINING. I didn't get bored once. I'll always remember this lovely drama and I'll never forget the hours of entertainment it gave me. <3
ps. Not even reading any comments in case I see anyone hating on this. I don't care, let me live in my bubble!
I'm going to drop this, unfortunately. I have no time to waste for an unprofessional actress that refuses to do kissing scenes yet accepts a role in the romance genre. I really like WA, but... nope.
I just finished this drama and I truly loved it. I went into it without expectations and it ended up a very good experience. So many good female characters! And what to say about the ML... he captured my heart completely. Also, that bit of lovers-turning-into-enemies? Chef's kiss!
I freakin' love this drama and I don't even know why, it's not groundbreaking. But the characters are endearing. Episode 19 even made me cry, dammit.
I ship the side couple more than the main though. Spoiled girl that wants to marry rich and poor orphan that hid his financial status to test her? Yes, I'm on board. Can't wait to see what happens.
Da Rim, get over your dumb feelings, not gonna happen.
You are ignoring the fact that Soon Young’s cheating was a deliberate and dishonest act that violated the trust…
Dude, calm down. It's a fictional character and you're talking as if they're real. OP just expressed what she'd like to see happen for her own entertainment. Wanting a fictional story to go a certain way has absolutely nothing to do with one's beliefs irl.
it's not written for biblebuild, it was written then bible AND build were cast. casting changes happen all the…
You're actually wrong, it WAS written for Bible and Build specifically and they were supposed to take part in the script / story writing. This was how the show was presented back in January.

Ohh this will make my evenings so enjoyable.
Better focus on his spoiled darling, he and Cha Rim make a much better couple. They match even visually!
