I think the worst was the ending of BL from China, which China then censored and people don't know if the character…
yeah we are all waiting for second port…they can film it in Taiwan and released on Gaga but to make it happe requires lots of effort as they can’t promote the series so money is big issue…

i was thinking if this is another propaganda series, but i was not sure of it at that time but now as you have…
I am not new to CN series been watching since decades but I give it a shot for a story that has other elements as well… I have skipped all such series related to politics and history specially from CN as they are clear in favor of their home country with fabricated history and events…most of the time even unrelated to other countries they create fake cities and name of location in series to avoid any conflicts . good for them nationalism and all but a clear propaganda is indigestible for me…I started this thinking something else but now I am too late to drop it..will just finished it as it is..
On When It Rains, It Pours Feb 13, 2025
kazuaki behavior is of typical toxic husband type…realised in todays episode…I hope Sei makes a decision quickly and leave him as he will not like him…my poor hagiwara is head over heels with Sai…I love how Hagiwara was determined when talking to his GF and just apologized but not reacted to her explanation as it is not enough…it is her right but it is also his right and best was to let go of eachother and hagiwara expression that he did nothing wrong made me so happy…

what I love about this show that director didn’t created any cliffhanger and said that this series is complete however season 2 can happen and he has planety of time to develop a script by the time HMH discharge from military. As the last thing I want from such series is cliffhanger like Weak Hero Class 1 and then wait 2 years to get a sequel…

they create a fake country with fake peoples probably Hispanic and south asian or pan Asian people and the country is riddled with terrorist and bad people and they can’t help themselves and Chinese soldier are deployed to help them and they glorify everything about CN soldiers their bravery and their capabilities of saving the world.

Hey those are just rumours, we don't know the truth. Lusi did say she has depression but she didn't say anything…
you think she will say it is because of them??? It is impossible for a CN star to say something like that, it is not a norm there and will never be...

Among the dramas about the story of King Taejong/Yi Bang Won, the most reasonable and best is Six Flying Dragons…
SFD is not accurate. This story is about the Queen, her perspective, and how her family was purged by King Taejong out of fear of their growing influence over the royal court. It also correctly portrays that despite his betrayal, Taejong truly loved the Queen. Even when his ministers urged him to lower her status, he never stripped her of her authority and allowed her to keep the title of Dowager.

And please, don’t get hung up on concubines. It’s not "cheating." For centuries, kings have had concubines to secure the royal bloodline. People act as if this is some modern-day scandal, but that’s just woke nonsense. In King Taejo’s case, he deliberately took concubines from different clans to weaken the influence of the Queen’s family.

By EP24 they are promosing, and discussing not to let go even after facing ep by ep loss...and yet if they follow the book, there is no such promise that will come to fruition...and rating will def dropped back to 7.7!!!

People have always complained about Asian mothers (especially those from mainland China) being strict, unreasonable, and unhinged toward their children. But don’t they realize the era these women lived through? They endured the Great Depression, were pushed backward by the Great Leap Forward, and survived years of relentless hard labor. These struggles left them with no room for emotional softness toward their children.

The events that unfolded during those times didn’t just shape one generation—they forged a mindset that was passed down through generations. Those who endured or were born into that era learned to see survival, discipline, and resilience as necessities, not choices. The values, expectations, and attitudes shaped by hardship became ingrained, carried forward from one generation to the next, not out of cruelty, but out of the belief that toughness was the only way to ensure survival in an unforgiving world.
