The most painful and "cold sigh" moment for me in ep9 was when CJY said to Heesu that Heesu knows everything about him, but he doesn't know anything about Heesu. That was honestly heartbreaking.

For Heesu, knowing CJY was natural, because he loved him. But CJY being unaware just showed how little he saw Heesu that way. And it’s not really his fault either... The part where CJY scolded Heesu for not telling him who he liked — that hit me the wrong way too. It felt unfair. He had no right to demand that from Heesu when he was never willing to see him properly. But again... it’s not fully CJY’s fault. He was just so oblivious from the beginning. It’s all just hidden feelings, unawareness, and two people never standing on the same side at the same time.
You can really feel in ep9 how much Heesu’s world is crumbling, even though he keeps trying to laugh it off. He’s always been the guy helping everyone else confess, solving everyone else’s feelings — but when it comes to himself, he’s completely lost. And the crazy part is, you realize he’s so good at reading others because he’s too afraid to face his own heart.
The confession in this episode was honestly the crux of the whole story. Because how can you move forward without closing the old chapter first? I actually loved that H confessed to CJY properly, even using past tense to make it clear — this was his goodbye to his first love. It was so necessary for him to be free to love someone who will love him back. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I needed that closure for him.
I know some people expected more. Like I said before, you have to keep your expectations lower with this drama. It’s a softer, quieter version of the webtoon. They didn’t dive deep into the actual relationship-building between the characters — they focused more on the origin of the feelings, how love even begins. For some, it might feel like the worst possible way to tell a BL story — where we wanted something more open, more romantic, more clear — but instead, they gave us this ambiguous journey about unspoken love, quiet heartbreak, and self-acceptance.
And I already know with today’s final episode, it’ll probably just be a quick confession, a small kiss, and then The End. No dating scenes, no domestic sweetness, none of that long afterglow. It sucks because I wanted that too. I wanted to see them happy together. I wanted more.
But I also accept this version. I liked it. I hated it. I’m just... feeling everything at once.

KSB??? that not autism..someone mentioned she is an autistic character, but more like emotionally indaapt...she does everything a normal person would do, just a weird personality and top of that she is super jalousie, and she does thing to in her abhorring someone...and thats nowhere excusable...no matter what fucking condition you have!!! I know she came about...but the fact she did do those things tells me she is capable of doing it again!!!

so what about Bona? she is nailing it...it has nothing to do with senior actors...it is just to each their own....people see him as chaebol kid both in real life as well as his image from Goblin, but he has been working hard....may be not the best but he deserves a credit where its due!!!
How lucky they are to work alongside the legendary Kim Hye-ja. At 84, her artistry remains untouched by time. I still remember watching her in Mother with Woo Bin, a performance etched into memory. Then came The Light in Your Eyes, where she shattered my heart in the most beautiful way. And now, she's stealing every frame with the brilliance of her current role.
This marks the third reunion of Kim Hye-ja, Han Ji-min, and Lee Jung-eun — and once again, they are nothing short of marvelous in bringing these characters to life.
84 years old and she is a leading lady of primetome show...KHJ never once dissapoint...not even once...she is extremely shy actress and do not appear much on shows and all...But she is a marvel gem that Korea has I wish I had.

But sometimes, we also have to consider what it takes behind the scenes to even get a story like this on air — especially on major platforms.

Adapting a webtoon into a live-action series — especially one rooted in youth, queerness, and emotional complexity — means making adjustments to fit broadcast standards, public sensibilities, and still somehow keep the core intact.
Yes, they extended some straight-character arcs. But that doesn't mean the main story got lost — if anything, it made the central romance stand out more starkly. Heesu and Seung-won's story is a slow burn by design. It’s intimate in the quietest ways — through long stares, pauses, shifting emotions, and unspoken tension. These aren't filler moments — they are the story.
This is the kind of narrative where we might not get an explosive kiss scene or a grand declaration. We might get a soft confession, a hesitant poppo (a light kiss on the lips), or simply the beginning of something meaningful. And maybe that’s the point — not every love story needs to scream to be heard. Some just ask you to listen a little closer.
So before the finale rolls around, it's worth adjusting expectations — not lowering them, but realigning them to appreciate what this show is actually doing. Because what we’re witnessing isn’t just a romance — it’s a quiet, tender coming-of-age. And sometimes, that’s even more powerful than tropes we’ve seen before.
Jun is a real stalker. You made him fall for you, and then you blamed him for a mistake that was never Akin’s. On top of that, you showed attitude. If I were Akin, I wouldn’t bother giving anyone an explanation—what I’d be feeling is that I was taken advantage of (possibly r*d), and I’d have to control myself just to deal with someone else’s tantrum....
Just awful... An even more painful episodes are coming, and Jun will be waging an emotional war on Akin. But it is what it is... I hope the sad episodes are short, but since this was only Episode 6 and there are still 5 more to go, it seems the happy moments and episodes are still far away!

I think FS let her go the moment they got married, once he finally realized she couldn’t love him. It was pointless to stay in a loveless, almost stranger-like relationship. He just wore the ring back then because he couldn’t forget his first love!
FL is FL, but I do feel a bit sad for SML. He thought he finally had a chance, only to realize he was just a replacement... and I’m glad he didn’t accept that. Hopefully, we’ll get to see how they even got married—or divorced—in the first place.
