It is just I feel sorry for CS that he is not end game with CHE and happy that he is not with QQ as well, that girl is pretty uptight and has narrow vision on things, that could lower CS if they were to be together.

I have watched her when she was just an annoying girlfriend of a second lead to her main roles...very very well done acting here...they way she embodied WYF character with gloominess, sadness, depressed and unwilling to say anything or open the doors of happiness having a calm face and fake smile...really a good trait of versatile actor. I am loving this so much!
I'm just wondering why did her mother send her to live with someone else? It's already bad enough that she lost…
her mother had already remarried, so thats why she could take her to live with them. but her step father seemed nice, I guess we will know. But it is definitely that her mother new family didn't wanted her to live with her.

I believe she is just tired of everything....no one was there to take her side, love??? no family is more important, she saw her mother hesitating taking her in and making her live with relative and not with her, she faced severe rejection from her step family and her mother didn't take her side...so her expectations from everyone is 0, including ML. She doesn't have expectations, doesn't get angry or show any emotions, as it is as tiring as explaining someone why she is the way she is, she just seeps in all negativities like sponge and stay constant. I also hope she opens up-to ML warmth, which she will, but effort has to be done by ML more for her to open.

it was obvious why she said those words, it was after she was assaulted, and she didn't wanted to him to worry or stay behind because of her, so thats why, once he will know what really happened whole perspective will change.
It was going fine, but once again, the same commenters are hating on the FL for her character. There are FLs who are laid back—let’s say, in your words, a "damsel in distress"—so what?

Her world fell apart—losing her father, becoming unwanted by her mother, being sent to live with her grandmother, only to be passed on to an aunt who didn’t want her either. And in that house, she was likely assaulted by her uncle. Then she was sent to live with her mother’s family, where she was again treated as an outsider by her stepsister. She never truly had a place—not in any house, not in anyone’s heart.
In such a situation, love is the last thing on her mind. And those 20 yuan she borrowed? To her, it was like 20 billion. Who wants to beg for money from someone they love? A hungry stomach and a sorrowful heart are two of the most dangerous things in the world. Her life was at its lowest—did people really expect her to be happy with SY?
So she left. She became numb to pain and negativity because happiness was never a part of her life. SY doesn’t even know the extent of her suffering beyond her family situation, and she can’t bring herself to tell him. I mean, who could?
It’s not about waiting to be saved—it’s about ML stepping into her life in a way that makes her realize she’s not alone. She needs to know she can be sad, throw tantrums, feel happy, and rely on someone. The ML has to make more effort than the FL because only then will she be able to let go of her burdens and see that he’s always been there for her.
Stop saying the FL is just a damsel in distress waiting to be saved. And even if she is—so what?

ZRN never delivers a dull performance. Her portrayal of an emotionally detached character, numb to reactions, unshaken by anything, feels raw and deeply layered. She has suffered immensely, yet no one came to her aid, leaving her in a state where nothing shocks her anymore. She simply goes with the flow.
This becomes evident when her friend asks, "Why are you always so calm? Why is everything just ‘okay,’ ‘nice,’ or ‘good’ to you?" It’s as if she has built an unbreakable wall, shielding herself from expectations, happiness, sadness, and joy, treating everything as the same. She no longer corrects or argues with anyone, not because she agrees, but because she has no energy left to defend herself. The weight of her burdens far outweighs their complaints.
Hopefully, the ML figures out what truly happened to her, and why she is the way she is, before his arrogance makes things worse!
To any one who can understand mandarin, when he said that he owes her 20 is he implying it as 20 = ai ni, since…
20 = er shi, and 5 = wu but when says quickly it sounds like wo ai ni, (foreigners will not feel it, as 520 = wu er ling) and hence it is popular term. but 520 has no meaning and is not wo ai ni.
apparently ML warned and snatched a fangirl's phone who was constantly recording him and following him, he gave her warning not todisturb his private time...but she didn't listen.
I think he did it right, but this should have been the job of his private security guard. Anyway, actor should defend themselves, they are famous and want public recognition but that doesn't mean they are entitled to all kind of BS they endure on hands of fans.
FL is sad as eff...hope ML understand her misery and tight lips, that why she left and why she is always quiet...
Glad they weren't' official CP when she left, so he can focus on their relationship without holding much grudge...
