I get what you are saying because the first time I read the novel, I thought the FL needs professional help than…
Your logic and what you said is not right. I agree that the FL never actively acknowledges her struggles as depression but that’s exactly the problem. Mental health issues don’t always come with self-awareness. Many people don’t realize they need help until it's too late, which is why it’s crucial for those around them to step in, even if they don’t have a “right” to. This isn’t about personal boundaries, it’s about survival.
Her extreme tolerance, lack of temper, and her way of just absorbing everything without reacting? That’s not normal. That’s years of emotional suppression. And whether she admits it or not, bottling up emotions that intensely isn’t sustainable. The fact that she only sleepwalks when triggered doesn’t make it any less alarming. It’s still a symptom of severe stress and trauma. And while I get that the ML can’t force her to see a doctor, he also can’t just stand by and watch her self-destruct. Encouraging professional help doesn’t have to be forceful, but it should have been there.
And that’s where I think the writing could’ve been stronger. Yes, she improved over time, but improvement without addressing the root cause is just surface-level healing. Depression, PTSD, and emotional repression don’t magically go away with romance or time. Ignoring them just means they fester. I wish the story had delved deeper into this aspect instead of treating it as something she just “got better” from. Because in reality, that’s not how it works.
I swear, I’m gonna kill that kid. OMG, why doesn’t he understand? Too much confidence—pretending to be the best is just pure cringe. I just want to slap that smug face so hard he goes back to playing his pathetic role. I hate him. He keeps crossing the line. Man, just shut the fuck up!
And the FL at this point? She’s clearly not normal. After everything people throw at her, she just responds calmly, complying as if nothing happened. That kind of self-control—bottling up every emotion without ever venting—is like a ticking time bomb. She’s angry, hurt, stressed, sorrowful, sad... yet instead of expressing it, she walks, talks, and behaves normally. But that’s not normal at all.
As for the ML—after seeing her sleepwalk, he should have forced her to see a doctor. Sleepwalking every night is a massive red flag. It’s a clear symptom of PTSD and extreme stress, a sign that her body is on the verge of an acute nervous breakdown. If left untreated, it could lead to brain damage, organ failure—hell, even death. People throw around the term “nervous breakdown” so casually, but they don’t realize how much it actually wrecks the body.
Depression is treated like a go-to illness in films and TV, but what most people don’t know is that it’s not just mental—it destroys the body too. It leads to diseases that linger for life, even after the depression itself is gone. The damage doesn’t just disappear.
I can't believe he is just 24 and he nailed it in this movei dam The amount of crying and line of true words uffff…
even at 16 he outperformed in his first movie “Better Day” one of the best film ever…his performance at the age of 17 solidified how great of a talent he is.
Someone said song cong would end up with du man, so does that mean song cong and qi qi are breaking up or the…
Yes they will breakup and realize their lifestyles are different, their love story was never normal to begin with, QQ constant try to make it work with SC and SC trying to adjust to her lifestyle despite actually falling for her, will not work.
I mean someone can tell that kid this is uncomfortable on whole other level!!! WYF tight lips and not refusing anything...is annoying now as that kid keep interrupting her and she doesn't even strongly affirms him not to do anything for her!!!
We all know what she did has something behind it...whether it was for ML protection or something grave that she prevented by letting other bad things happen...will defiantely come about in the end and they will defiantly end up together or if not then they will have "something" to link to them.
I don’t understand the fucking attitude of ML… there is 0 mistake of FL and she is paying the price for his crime and doing and he has the audacity to grab her by collar…fuck him…the morality check they try to portray I have 0 sympathy to begin with…how can I show any sympathy when it was wrong to begin with and put the entire team into near death which is the first and foremost and the most important part of any space mission…they go up there by risking life and he try to did something without knowing the gravity of his actions…he is still obsessed with child and doesn’t realized he ruined his career but ruined FL career who wasn’t mistake at all….it wasn’t some random Wall Street job but a opportunity tat handful of people has...Fuck him and I hate FL still going through so much and she is still tough and fighting at all cost having lost all things….beacuse of him
they just wrapped up highs school period up till 14th EP and there were confessions, but those are not end game…
not yet but it is on the way, as he wasn't aware of his feelings, now he is sure so he will persue her in university and it will take time, as of now no.
sorry if the question will bother you, but are the leads together by the current episodes? or not yet?
they just wrapped up highs school period up till 14th EP and there were confessions, but those are not end game confessions, as the real leads (JCQ and CHE) will have their screen time as CP after 16 episodes during their universities days. Before that they have screen time as friends and mostly they are in most of the scenes...so yeah it is perfectly places. As school period can't have riomance.
OMG he is so damn precious...and she is so deserving of him.
Him drawing a butterfly on her scars and telling her that one dat the scars will fly away...teared me up...man where can we find such beautiful souls...only books have them!!!
Someone made a meme of Sunjae from LR and Sang Yan from TFF are looser. And it is damn true, there are so similarities between them that I thought this before who's behaviors SY matched, and it was SJ from LR. I mean they are red carpet infront of FL, no matter after how many years after she appears they fel flat for them..angry, hurt but as soon as FL appears they burst like a bubble in bomb bath.
Loving this so much...I find TFF having more depth and meaning than its predecessor. I rated both high and liked both, but finding this one has more to offer than HL.

Also QQ and SC will start to break apart because of their lifestyles.
It is like Mindhunter and Through the Darkness meeting together to create a Witch.
People expecting it to be horror, thriller or some magic show - it ain't none!
It is drama mystery-thriller series based on webtoon that deals with social subject!!!
