Yes I believe 1000% that he does. I have a theory that she is in safe hiding from a grand conspiracy or that she…
Ijust saw the trailer for ep 24 and the drama is different from the novel. If I recall correctly, In the novel,BTX’s brother is a cousin and died early, leaving BFX to be next in line to rule when her father dies. He did not have the opportunity to meet HFX. There was no other heirs.

BFX is the princess from Qingzhou, one of the 6 kingdoms. I believe it’s in her nature to love freedom and be carefree. She is not motivated by wealth nor power. She prefers life in the Martial arts world to court life. In the novel, her parents had a contentious relationship because her father chose to have concubines to beget an heir. BFX was able to leave home because her brother was alive then. It’s HFX who is related to the Imperial family. It was explained in one of the episodes that his late mother was the emperor’s sister.
The ml giving fl a hairpin and personally putting it on her was supposed to be romantic, until I remembered he…
I seem to remember in one episode, for some reason, HFX explained that his maid has been with him since young and BFX said it has nothing to do with her.
I've been wondering Bai Feng xi other identity princess feng xi Yun. How come she doesn't have maids or bodyguards…
Most likely, because she is carefree she leaves her kingdom without thinking of bringing her wealth with he. She is also not motivated by wealth and power . Qingzhou’s wealth is hidden and her dad tod her where it is on his deathbed
For Wuxia,, try Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber, Sword Snow Stride, Princess agents. For Xianxi, Eternal Love of Dreams, The Legends, Love and Redemption.
Yeah Jiang Ni is cute but she's being overshadowed by very strong female characters in Qing Niao and Nangong Pushe.…
The story may have been written this way. We saw a lot of QN because she was XFN’s bodyguard. I believe in the novel ( I did not read but there are enough recaps on the internet ) that XFN ends with multiple wives. But that’s not unusual given that the novel is written by a man and the male protagonist is a rich nobleman in times where they had many wives.
Many complain Therea Li pouts too much but QN also has sour face all the time but my take is that’s how the characters are written. The actress who plays QN is not any prettier than TL. That’s a personal opinion ofcourse. Both actresses have good and bad shots in the drama. When they are all dolled up, they look pretty but in grittier moments, they may not look so good due to styling. I think the casting of Theresa Li as JN was appropriate as she has an air of vulnerability about her which another actress may not have for the role of JN.
Praying she comes back as Jiang Ni if they have a second season. I heard rumours that they might replace her with…
I agree with you. I read that initially, the director received lots of criticism as well and here we are, with a #1 drama. I hope Treasa Li stays for season 2 as well. I like her portrayal of JN.
Yeah, it is really rare for there to be a satisfying ending to an unfinished drama in C drama land! Thank goodness…
All dramas with more than 1 season should have satisfying endings like this. Ode to Joy season 1 &2 also had satisfying endings so that they are more or less standalone dramas . There is no sense in have cliff hanger endings with season 2 nowhere in sight like Princess Agents or JOL- So unsatisfying….
I hate this kind of drama where all the girls look better than the FL. This kind of weakness doesn't exist in…
Though FL is not the most beautiful, she is beautiful enough. I looked at the photos posted in the photo section and there are a few good ones of her. I think she was casted correctly because she has that vulnerable look that is needed by her character here. Likewise, the ML is not the most handsome actor I’ve seen but he’s one of my favorites and he plays XFN to the T.
