They really should have kept with the novel for the scene where BFX goes against the cannons. She was literally…
Yes, In the novel, HC shot her, after she destroyed one of his bases and while she had not gained back her strength. That b——-d! And he is supposed to be in love with her but winnng the war was everything to him. He told YWY that she would be severely injured by his arrow if she had her full strength but because she had used up so much of her strength, the shot is fatal. YWY was so incredulous and upset as he also likes BFX.
lang hua scene was so weird for me lol. Who in the world just goes up to their "sister" and stabs them in the…
I liked that it was very unexpected🤣 . Always thought Langhua was a spoilt, jealous brat with very poor judgement. When we first saw her, she told BFX that it’s not her home when BFX said it was good to be home. Is this how you treat your family member after not seeing them for a while? Her father is BFX’s shifu so they are considered family. BFX had to remind her that she knew her dad before she was born. Thereafter, she was quick to blame BFX .never did quite like her character so when she stabbed BFX, it was just a ‘holy s—t’ moment for me. I was never invested in her character. And I think the sect master never expected the ‘ first gentleman’ or whatever his title, to be so devious, especially in his own territory. But too naive for a sect leader at the cost of his life.
I feel that the script is getting worse, definitely suffered from all the behind the scenes drama with the producer…
Just curious, which parts do you not like other than maybe the Lang Hua stabbing? As someone mentioned, most of it , other than sect business is from the novel.
HFX is scheming, ruthless and selfish, a product of his environment and loveless upbringing. In the first ep or…
But I didn’t think he was portrayed that badly in the novel either. Granted, I read the novel in fits and starts and can’t remember much of the first half but I’d say there wasn’t much negativity re HFX in the later half of the novel. It was usually BFX who held suspicions of HFX. She’d say something like ‘ you don’t know the real HFX’ to others. And she did not know of the evilness of his family until much later when she met them.
I think it is HC who is more ruthless and unconscionable.
Okies.. i loved this drama regardless of people complaining about too much palace drama and other things.. i absolutely…
I’m with you. I too am enjoying all the episodes and eagerly look forward to the next . But I think HFX knows BFX’s identity based on the smirt he had in one of the previous episodes when he was talking with her - can’t recall which ep though.
Like someone said in the comment section… she won the stupidest character award of the year 🤣. I am ready…
In the novel, the scene where BFX told HFX about Xieyue when they were in Qingzhou was so touching and brought tears to my eyes. Xieyue was always sickly and died when he was 17 and BFX 15. They had a very loving and lovely relationship. Their birthdates were on they same date and they made each other presents and drew portraits of each other until Xieyue’s death. 😢😢😢
after today episodes and many thoughts, i’ve come to the conclusion that the script writer didn’t really understand/adapt…
HFX is scheming, ruthless and selfish, a product of his environment and loveless upbringing. In the first ep or was it the 2nd, BFX chastised him for killing all those people with the ‘ hawks?’. I think it is implied that BFX changed him over time, and before he even knew it. Even HFX’s subordinates said he’s a different person when he’s with BFX.
Even though this two eps did give us a kiss I think with China new law of 40 eps affected alot of the story line.…
I love this drama but I’m glad its 40 episodes and will be sad when it ends. The dramas that have 50 or 60 episodes are way too long and become draggy or events start repeating. The novel has too many side characters so I’m glad they are not featured in the drama or as much as in the novel.
I think they have started to compliment each other rather. FL has always been smart but she knows her place (when…
Read after your finished this drama. Though the characters might be a bit different, some are composites, the main story is n intact and it would be a major spoiler which you won’t want.
1. in the novel the others states think she’s sick (they basically used xiyun’s plot for lanxi in the drama)…
In the novel, when HC realized BFX is Qingzhou’s princess, he said to Yu that HCR is just a princess whereas BFX is a peerless general. Based on that, in HC’s eyes, BFX would be a bigger catch. Youzhou is known to be very rich but Qingzhou has their riches stashed away according to the novel. Youzhou has a much bigger army but the king is stupid as a military leader. I think if HC had realized BFX’s real identity, he would have tried harder to marry her first.
The book has happy ending. Based on photos of Yang Yang with white hair, drama should follow ending in book.
I think it is HC who is more ruthless and unconscionable.
