For sure, I think Kinn believes in Porsche but because of the fact that they’re still dating in secret, he still needs to treat Porsche like he would any other bodyguard to maintain fairness in front of everyone else. Plus, he has the right to be cautious, he’s being calm at it at that. If Porsche was really just another Tawan, he’s be foolish just to blindly brush it off, so he’s just going through the formal procedures, not because he’s already made his verdict but to avoid causing any harm. It’s also a less biased way of giving himself the ability to prove Porsche’s innocence. Killing two birds with one stone. That’s what his father was complimenting him about too. Problem is that Porsche is not as strategic in nature. He believes what people show upfront, and doesn’t necessarily question or analyse potential ulterior motives. that’s what allows him to be so trusting, warm and open, for better or worse. So if Porsche is now losing hope that Kinn still has any trust in him, he might be tempted to run away with Vegas, knowing that he might get killed. Then again, Porsche’s trust in Kinn isn’t that weak either, so if anything, if he were to run away with vegas, it would involve his brother in some way or Porsche would be fooled into thinking he could help make things better being free without realising it only makes things much worse.
Both kinn and porsche's trust is being tested. They are inherently capable of overcoming these obstacles but the manipulative pieces on the chess board are creating more and more holes into their own judgement. I wouldnt blame Porsche if he runs away with Vegas, but i think that deep down both Kinn and Porsche want to believe in each other
