Mei Xing/Wenxing's story was so sad. One of my favorite scenes from Forever and Ever may be one of theirs and that scene when ZSC was having a really hard time with Wenxing's illness and then all that happened to Shi Yi. ZSC's character and voice are amazing, One and Only is a masterpiece do tell me when you watch it. That one got me into costume dramas.
On my side, I'm really enjoying this drama too. It's really relaxing, easy, and fun to watch, the pace is good, all characters are pretty charming, the jokes quite resonate with my weird sense of humor, the OST is fantastic, and the story and the overall setting are fresh and novel for C-dramas. Also, as one comment below says Lu Yan was supposed to act cold, his character has finally warmed up to DD, so he's finally showing much more expression. I've seen many dramas with RJL as ML, he's great, and his voice acting does need to improve, but hey he gotta practice to grow right?
