I'm watching episode 6 and it looks like my wish that the relationship between the Emperor and Ying Yuan is similar…
You'll be very surprised about the Heavenly Emperor :3 I also want to point out that the punishment of love is not precisely death but more some powerful magic that pierces your soul and it's very likely you'll lose your life. Heaven's rule forbids love, but fairies can cover it up saying it is just admiration and care for their master, and as long as the other part doesn't respond (in this case YY) nothing major would happen.
Try to watch 2 series to see if you are hooked or not with the story, need a little effort to understand the subs,…
I watched episode 1 and the whole setting, characters, acting, pretty much everything is great. I even cried in the first case in one-minute span. My basic Chinese and Mango bad subs do help me understand, but I cannot stop thinking that the subs might mess up my experience a little too. Anyway, I'll wait some days for a miracle to happen but if it doesn't happen, I'm gonna watch it anyway
Lin Qin's performance as Yu Xin was amazing (The scream :0) and RJL's as general LY was also very good, they got chemistry and a pretty sweet and heartbreaking backstory. I can die in peace since LY's face has finally softened, and from his eyes, you can tell how different YDD is for him now. Note: That OST "Indefinite at times", chief kiss.
About the ending, episode 59th is an open ending hinting at a happy one, which is then shown in the special episodes.…
The 59th episode is from part two. The first part is 38 episodes while the second one has 21 episodes and then you have 2 special episodes of eight minutes each with a happy ending.
what kind of ending? (want to know before i watch)is the drama draggy ? some comments seems to think so
About the ending, episode 59th is an open ending hinting at a happy one, which is then shown in the special episodes. About whether is draggy or not, I think it depends on perspective, drama wise they did extend the mortal realm more than they should, but I personally loved and enjoyed that arc.
I also want to point out that the punishment of love is not precisely death but more some powerful magic that pierces your soul and it's very likely you'll lose your life. Heaven's rule forbids love, but fairies can cover it up saying it is just admiration and care for their master, and as long as the other part doesn't respond (in this case YY) nothing major would happen.
Note: That OST "Indefinite at times", chief kiss.
