Happy episodes start again in the 20th episode since it's the mortal realm and they don't have their memories, It's very happy and last for a quite good amount of episodes. Then as you may expect there's more angst and some happy moments in between.

GBX got his character development really quickly, he just said he just cares if she's happy or not. I'm kinda sad they cut his hair though, he looked really handsome in the first hairstyle.
I also believe once she recovers her memories, she'll understand. After all, in LY's eyes YDD should give back YX what it's hers.
Let's see what happens!

Chinese dramas usually don't have a strong start, or at least a big part of the dramas I've watched are like this. I think you can watch one or two more episodes, and see whether in your perspective gets better or not.

He knows, he has always known its YD who saved him. Give you a little context anyway, ZX has lied to everyone about her saving his life, right? YY since the very beginning knew that YD was the person taking here of him, so when all of this sister drama happened, YY went to ask YD about it to figure out her thoughts in all this situation, when he did so, he noticed two things:
1 - ZX took the credit without YD's consent
2 - YD doesn't want to tell him the truth because her sister lied, and that's ofc a crime that would get ZX heavily affected and YD cares about her.
So he wants ZX to admit her mistake by herself, and probably find a way to not affect her too much since that's what YD wants.
Also, as you may see in future episodes, YY doesn't acknowledge YD as her savior nor defends her in front of his Supreme Majesty because that would get them the Red thread test, and hence the Love punishment, and YD's life would be done for.
This overall situation is really complicated due to YY's responsibilities as sovereign lord, the love abstinence rule, ZX being the person who hurt YD, and YD and YY being deeply in love with each other.

Well, I'm glad YDD has someone who genuinely wants to protect her. I don't know what to think about LY though, he wants to take an innocent life, would the saintess Yu Xi agree with that?

I was like this when this drama came out, so reluctant to watch due to the ending. I took the risk, loved it and this even got me into costume dramas

What episode are you in?

Well, I just finished episode 3. I have to say that the magic elements, the clans, and the plot are very engaging, I don't know why but the BGM and other elements give me western vibes and I like it. Also, I love the classic xianxia drama setting but it's also nice to watch something truly fresh and different like this drama once in a while. The story got me, guess it's time to buy an iQiyi membership again（〜^∇^ )〜

I have a deep attachment to that scene, it's an absolute masterpiece.
You just made me go to rewatch it again, I think I'm even able to recite their lines after repeating it so many times. This part of the dialogue also hits me really hard:
"Silly, I have already forgiven you"
"No, I don't allow you to forgive you. But don't let go of me"
It's like you say. In those words, Ying Yuan shows how lonely and vulnerable and how much longing he has for Yan Dan T_T

First of all, I think this is highly likely to have kissing scenes. Second, he does kissing scenes, which he did in Forever and Ever and also did for The Blue Whisper, you can check the BTS if you don't believe me. And anyway, even if he doesn't do kissing scenes, that's his business. The producers, director, and the people who cast him to be the ML should know the conditions of the actor they're contracting.

Youku is not sabotaging this drama, they simply don't have the international right for the airing of this drama. We have to wait for the actual owner of international rights, Croton, to release the subs.
