What's funnier is that another drama just started airing with the title "My Lovely Boxer". What's with the "My…
Actually, the project title of My Lovely Liar was "Useless Lies". Fans have been using this since September last year when Kim So Hyun and Hwang Min Hyun were confirmed for casting, so imagine the shock just months ago when the final English title was announced as "My Lovely Liar" 😂😂😂😉
It took a lot of us a great deal of time to adjust.
I like Kang Min's character more now. He is more realistic than I thought.
True, he's more of the protective type.
My Mom is like him. While I appreciate being blinded at some truth so I could go on with my day normally, the pain of knowing about it years later is just hard for me to get over. Still, I like people like him and keep them close.
I really liked the conversation between DoHa and Kang Min in ep 10. It gave us a clear distinction of how they express their love to Solhee. While both of them have the purest of intentions, I still prefer DoHa's love more--- honest, trusting, never assuming. It makes me feel like I'm an equal player in the relationship which should always be the case.
STORYLINE POOOR?? OMG ARE U WATCHING THE Same drama???
I'm with you. I dropped it twice. Lucky for those who got satisfied with this. I tried so hard to love this. I mean it had a briliant plot, backdrop (retro!! I just love period dramas), setting ... but gosh, something's just missing and I can't blame anyone but the writer.
are there similar recent dramas to this? (heartbreaks/ north-south interactions/ etc)it's been two years and I…
Doctor Stanger King 2 Hearts
These are just 2 of the dramas featuring North K and South K issues that I remember being interesting in the past decade. Not the same tier as CLOY though. They're wayyy below.
I literally (Snow) dropped this twice. The entire hostage scene took more than half of the entire show that I couldn't get myself to finish. I even forgot which episode I left off.
I feel the same way you do. Can you recommend any other movies that are similar or better that you have watched?…
Hi, I'm back!
I'm glad you like it. That's my gateway to Kdramas back in 2003 so that's very special to me. You may want to check all other "seasons" of Endless Love series. So they made one drama for each season-- Autumn In My Heart, Winter Sonata, Spring Waltz and Summer Scent (Song Seung Hoon stars here again as the ML with Son Ye Jin). All of these four have that that similar mix of nostalgia, slow burn, chemistry, and past connection.
She was busy with the gang members though. I don't think she was involved. Ep 1 opens to a scene of her driving…
Yes!!! She could be though. Especially because she could still perfectly tell what time she passed by him, considering she was intent on watching the game. She kept on checking the time.
is there anyone who knows the instrumental that plays to the throwbacks scenes when they were young example:Episode…
Hi, I don't know the song but if it helps, I usually check the official OST album of the drama. Most dramas list their entire score for the show, so that includes the instrumentals.
These days, the show runners upload them both in Spotify and Apple Music, so good luck!
I've just started this... so FL is younger in her current body than ML but much older if you count her past lives?
Yes, she's way younger than ML in her current life. From what I remember in my own calculations (it was never disclosed), perhaps about 9 years. ML was born in 1989 and the current life of FL started in 1998.
There are also discussion threads in here somewhere about their ages.
As for her overall age, I don't want to spoil you about that. 😅
is it worth watching?? Like OVERALL?? Also can u spoil a little but about the role of Ha Yoon Kyung? Cause I love…
It's worth the watch, really. Overall, it's a good material with a solid plot, or so I thought.
The drama started REALLY STRONG, one of the strongest first two episodes in a while, but then the momentum wasn't sustained.
We usually have this problem with dramas having at least 16 episodes, but this 12-episode drama is suffering from that. So I guess you kinda know what to expect.
Nonetheless, I'm gonna rewatch this, especially for the romance and the younger version of the cast. Gosh, these kids really know how to act, and they're what, under 14??
Everyone in the show is familiar by the way, so that perhaps led me to have high expectations but sadly, this show was underwhelming.
Ha Yoon Kyung plays as the FL's sister. I think you'll love her here. She pretty nailed the synchronization with her younger version, and she's sooo cute in her-- personality, outfit, and hairstyle!
Plot twist:He actually killed her.................NO WAY but that would be shoking to some....The mother must…
To be honest, I'm kinda reeling on the possibility that he really did kill her like how it's been portrayed in the teasers. The writer might go full throttle on the mystery part of the series since we already got the romance part. 😂
tbh , i found it's weird why many related parties /ppls insisted that eumji was presumed dead before ep10 while…
And that's why the case got dismissed. There were a lot of issues in the case, among others--- Illegal Arrest (he got arrested for Murder when no body was found yet), and lack of evidence especially after Seung Ju recanted his statement of confession to the crime.
That's why his Mom is pretty confident when he told him that it will be okay, and that they're getting a good lawyer.
It took a lot of us a great deal of time to adjust.
