My eyesight is not that good, was it really her in the hanbook? and if yes, how's that possible?
Lol I'm now rewatching the ep, on the same scene where the lady in Hanbok appeared. I paused it immediately as soon as I've seen your comment. and Yes, it's really Cho Boa. So this could be related to their past life.
I am not sure what's the fuss about male lead that started as unlikeable or not a green flag. To be fair, I miss…
IKR? Well actually, I find SY's interaction with HJ here as rational. If I were to meet a civil servant who'd pester me about my private land and eventually lead to being entangled with her more, I'd be annoyed too š Considering that my life was going by smoothly pre-HJ.
wow how come I missed this? Sol Hee was there the day the incident happened?
Yup. In ep 1, her first case shown in the show was in Hakcheon. Remember she drove there with her car to solve the incident involving what seemed like gang members who own a certain sports team.
That same client was the owner of the bar in ep12 where Do Ha and Solhee saw Duk Chan's brother gambling away his recently loaned money from Do Ha.
Anyway, back in ep 1, after Solhee's appointment with said client was over, she drove all around town to presumably look for a motel as it was already very late for her to drive back to Seoul (3- hour drive) and she didn't want to miss the football game that night.
She passed by a man wearing a red football jersey/merch which made her happy as apparently there's another football fan in that town.
That was Do Ha, then Seung Ju. From Sol Hee's POV, Do Ha's face cannot be seen as his back was against her. They were both moving along the same direction. But Solhee might have seen him holding a white shirt.
Meanwhile, Do Ha was walking aimlessly, a bit out of his mind.
It was later on revealed that it was right after he broke up with Eom Ji by the beach, where they had a traumatic altercation with EJ threatening him that she'd kill herself, and him telling her to just go ahead.
Lol i dont watch MLL, cause romance drama is not really my tea unless there has my fav cast on it, š
Oh you're the comment prior to mine. I didn't want to stir anything but I just found it amusing how when you scroll more below, there are several accounts that I recognize from MLL page and most of them find the ML here rude. š
You see, the MLs in MLL just happen to have good personality and values in general. Sort of a breath of fresh air in kdrama land. That's why watching Destined With You after MLL might have fueled that frustration against Shin Yu here.
Also, MLL is not entirely romance. It's also murder mystery. Perhaps it could be your cup of tea. You might want to reconsider checking it out.
for some reason I think the only person who can save Do Ha is Sol Hee, not by hunting lies by being the alibi…
True! I also think that shot of Solhee driving past DoHa in the first ep was deliberate. More so now that the ep 1 client came back again for ep 12. They would definitely use that timeline to resolve the case.
But of course, DoHa will get punished for providing a fake alibi.
I understand the harsh comments about the ML and I recognize that some were from viewers of 'My Lovely Liar'. Oh, MLL must have spoiled us with leads who are literally walking green flags. š
They did an editing mistake because when he called her his background showed it was day but it was already night
True. Also when HJ was trying to open the wooden box with a knife. Last shot was that the knife was on the right side of the box but the next shot showed it's now on the left side.
When they showed Deuk Chan's wife having an affair, I was like really mad with the show, because they portrayed…
Deuk Chan seems like the type who's so bent on making things appear perfect. He's motivated to achieve that good facade but in reality, everything's crumbling. He doesn't really address the issue to fix it, he enjoys burying or ignoring them just not to break the status quo.
So I won't be surprised if he got dragged to becoming an accomplice by his brother just so their family's reputation wouldn't be damaged.
It would be so funny if kangmin saves solhee from that guy with a knife lol this would be the third and doha would've…
Kang Min was projecting. He knew deep down it was his fault for failing to arrest Eom Ho. Yes, Do Ha interfered, but as a police man who personally a crime committed, he is obligated to find the criminal regardless of any obstruction.
He didn't. And now the criminal did worse things. He felt guilty, and projected his anger to Do Ha.
Where was this energy when you saw your own father stealing your sister's money? She was saving to go to college…
that's grief for you, all the regrets from not being good enough to someone who's now gone just give you this energy to do shitty things to make matters worse.
I have questions, I really don't understand DH's mother. I mean she hasn't believed her son from jump it seems…
Deuk Chan's brother knows Eom Ji because they all lived in Hakcheon. And considering how small of a town it is, it seems that they all came from the same school.
Deuk Chan is a bit older than the 3, Eom Ji and Seung Ju are classmates; and the brother might be their classmate too or someone close to their age.
I am just amazed at this point of time...................It just took a day trip for Do Ha to get to Eom Ji's…
From what I saw on ep 12, I don't think the police missed the possibility of the father being the suspect (Eom Ho, on the other hand, missed it though as he didn't think their Father could kill his own child).
During the conversation of the Senior Police Officer and Kang Min, he mentioned that Eom Ji had a bad family situation and they know about her Father's gambling and loan issues.
Perhaps despite knowing that, they still lack evidence to implicate him to the case. Making DoHa's Mom frustrated as it would eventually make her son the only suspect in the case, so she had to do everything to bury the case.
Also, Eom Ji's body cannot be found, so it's still a missing person case to begin with. Meanwhile, Kim Seung Ju was just treated unfairly by media and all that, being called a murder suspect so the focus was on him.
I also think Deuk Chan's brother had something to do with Eom Ji's case. Unrequited love can make someone violent.
I paused it immediately as soon as I've seen your comment.

A bit excited to start ep 3 considering how hyped the comments were about eps 3-4.

Deuk Chan is a bit older, so perhaps Eom Ji and Doha were classmates with DC's brother.
