Eps 1 and 2 were a bit hard to watch. Good thing I've got a lot on my plate already so I'm not that affected (or disappointed).

A bit excited to start ep 3 considering how hyped the comments were about eps 3-4.

My go-to youtube clips whenever I feel like needing endorphin boost. If you eliminate all the exes, this drama is reallyyyy good.

Deuk Chan seems like the type who's so bent on making things appear perfect. He's motivated to achieve that good facade but in reality, everything's crumbling.
He doesn't really address the issue to fix it, he enjoys burying or ignoring them just not to break the status quo.


So I won't be surprised if he got dragged to becoming an accomplice by his brother just so their family's reputation wouldn't be damaged.

Kang Min was projecting. He knew deep down it was his fault for failing to arrest Eom Ho. Yes, Do Ha interfered, but as a police man who personally a crime committed, he is obligated to find the criminal regardless of any obstruction.


He didn't. And now the criminal did worse things. He felt guilty, and projected his anger to Do Ha.

that's grief for you, all the regrets from not being good enough to someone who's now gone just give you this energy to do shitty things to make matters worse.

They're all probably friends from school. The town seems small so most likely they all went to the same public school.

Deuk Chan is a bit older, so perhaps Eom Ji and Doha were classmates with DC's brother.

Deuk Chan's brother knows Eom Ji because they all lived in Hakcheon. And considering how small of a town it is, it seems that they all came from the same school.


Deuk Chan is a bit older than the 3, Eom Ji and Seung Ju are classmates; and the brother might be their classmate too or someone close to their age.

From what I saw on ep 12, I don't think the police missed the possibility of the father being the suspect (Eom Ho, on the other hand, missed it though as he didn't think their Father could kill his own child).


During the conversation of the Senior Police Officer and Kang Min, he mentioned that Eom Ji had a bad family situation and they know about her Father's gambling and loan issues.


Perhaps despite knowing that, they still lack evidence to implicate him to the case. Making DoHa's Mom frustrated as it would eventually make her son the only suspect in the case, so she had to do everything to bury the case.


Also, Eom Ji's body cannot be found, so it's still a missing person case to begin with. Meanwhile, Kim Seung Ju was just treated unfairly by media and all that, being called a murder suspect so the focus was on him.



I also think Deuk Chan's brother had something to do with Eom Ji's case. Unrequited love can make someone violent.

Anyone else wondering why Kang Min reacted the way he did upon seeing Eom Ji's photo in Choi Eom Ho's journal?
It feels like there's more to the story.

Me too! I'm actually enjoying the series. We've been seeing more of what's been promoted about the drama, in a good way. So true enough, it's a romance mystery.

Now I don't want to think anymore about who's who. My brain would just hurt.

One thing's for sure--- DoHa's mom had no hand in Eom Ji's killing but might have corrupted the police officer who handled the case as she didn't trust DoHa enough that he didn't kill Eom Ji.

So for a recap:- Their neighborhood friends finally realize that he's indeed THE songwriter Kim Do Ha, but good thing they also want to keep his identity a secret- the Convenience Store guy though was drunk and introduced Do Ha to his brother (Ethan of Atlantis) that he's the songwriter Kim Do Ha. Ethan didn't believe it- the spectator during the festival who knew Kim Seung Ju from the Hakcheon case uploaded the performance video on Youtube and the same got viral after news of a found dead body was released- The body was confirmed to be Eom Ji's and Do Ha got called for questioning- Meanwhile, Kang Min continues digging the case and begins to realize that his Senior whom he adores might have mishandled the case by succumbing to corruption- During the police questioning, Do Ha was confused why the investigator turned off the recording while he was asked for more clarificatory questions, and was even dismissed earlier than expected- He got warned by a police officer to be vigilant as Eom Ji's brother is out for his blood- On his way home from Hakcheon Police Station, Do Ha visited the beach where he last saw Eom Ji and tried to connect how she got into the mountain where her body was found- He also checked the area where she was found; Before he left, he remembered the food that Solhee gave her to eat during the long drive- Eom Ji's brother managed to extract from the Reporter Do Ha's exact new address; he went there steathily to kill Do Ha; he waited for him by the stairs and stabbed the person who was about to enter his unit

I think initially, yes, he was very suspicious of Do Ha, as well as jealous and scared for Sol Hee that he's around her all the time, that's why he started his personal investigation of the case. But at present, his continued investigation is no longer just anchored on DoHa-Solhee alone. He realized that there's a lot of questionable things on the case, making him suspicious as well of his trusted senior. It has now become a personal journey for his obligation as a cop, and it seems that he also doesn't want to believe that his Senior is corrupt.


So this 2ML is actually doing a good thing, not just for his unrequited love.

I forgot the exact episode but that part where Kang Min was reviewing the case files of the Hakcheon case. There was a scene where he was watching the video as alibi of Doha, and he concluded that it was blurry and seemed faked.

S2 was their worst? Then you haven't watched the Hong Sisters' show enough. 😂
To think that AOS S1 was actually the first ever drama that they aced.

There was a time in kdrama-land where the networks compiled all the ads and showed it after the first half of the drama.
So to not break the flow, the production made the dramas into 30-minute length and aired 2 episodes per airing day.

Hence the 32-episode dramas instead of 16., etc.
