They haven’t explained WHY he did it yet. They’re doing a flashback next week. He tried saying “no” that’s…
True. I feel that he didn't really have a motive to kill her. It's not murder, but homicide. He killed her by accident.
Besides, DC struggled so hard to hide his feelings for DoHa. His homosexuality isn't his main villain arc like what others say, he killed someone and he just happened to like Do Ha.
Sadly, Do Ha might spiral back mentally after this. Just when he finally liberated himself that he didn't kill Eom Ji. Now he'd feel again that it's his fault since Deuk Chan likes him, and that must have been his motive for killing her.
Forgot to congratulate all those who hypothesized the BL arc!! Wowwww. Sorry, I didn't believe you, guys! I just didn't think South Korea is ready for this but yeyyy the writers are really braver now. Way to go! I really loved this plot twist!
We only have 3 episodes left, I wonder: 1. Why show DC’s wife/child and her eventually divorcing him. Is his…
From what ep 14 showed, I think1. his wife found out about him liking Do Ha. There was a female voice during his confrontation with Sol Hee outside his office, talking about liking Do Ha. I believe that was his wife's words, subtly mixed in to connect about the divorce.2. Never mentioned. But it was shown that Solhee inherited the lie detector ability from her Dad. so, he might have wanted to live in seclusion because of that ability, and perhaps, to get away from his ex wife who's still into him. 3. Ep 14 revealed this. They're friends since middle school but not that close. It implied that they got closer post Eom Ji missing case, when Deuk Chan helped him out with the alibi and hiding in Seoul. He also bought DoHa some musical instruments just after he mentioned once that he's into musicz which basically started his career. Do Ha might have gravitated to him as he was his only friend left.4. I still think he won't give up easily on his career, especially now that his brother finally has the confidence in songwriting, and that Do Ha promised that he'll write songs for him in the future. So we might see more of him and his brother. For the last part, I believe eps 15 and 16 will be focused on romance. I actually like how they started the romance pretty early then sandwhiched the ramping of the murder case, then resolution/romance again. But to each his own.
I am kinda unsure about the romance. So they brought in her ex-boyfriend in episode 4, and what are we suppose…
The SML here is actually a decent one. He understands boundaries and is pretty mature, to a fault (he acts like her big brother). He can't stop himself from looking out for Solhee though considering the ML is a murder suspect and the case looks suspicious to him. Nonetheless, he's okay.
A few words for Hwang Min Hyun - some observations as we near the end of this show: 1. This is the first time…
Thank you for saying this. I always feel bad reading comments about his acting but we can't please everyone. In real life, Minhyun is actually extroverted that's why acting introverted and managed to deliver, made him a good actor in my book. Not everyone can pull that off. And I like that you pointed out how he was able to maintain that shy and aloof demeanor all through out. His acting is pretty decent, which makes me want to watch out for his future projects considering he's just a rookie in the acting industry.
So the ring was actually for Deuk Chan himself, so he would feel that he's matching rings with Seung Ju. 🥺🥺 Poor Deuk Chan. I know he's the murderer but I can't help but sympathize for him. He must have struggled so much for being gay.
For an epic/historical drama with a serious tone, yes. It is somehow the overall theme of the drama but the show also highlights the struggles of the palace court, the nobles, and the common folks of those times, so there were parts where romance was placed in the back burner.
CLOY, Chicago Typewriter, Alchemy of Souls 1 and 2, etc.
