I find it very sad too. I weeped for Deuk Chan, especially when Do Ha found out about his secret and DC's life…
I think he heard, hence the clarificatory question of "and you killed Eom Ji (because of me"? forgot the exact lines but DoHa couldn't seem to finish it I'ma even afraid that he'd spiral again mentally because ultimately, he's still the reason why Eom Ji died. Unless she was killed by accident.
It is just me or someone else, too? But the 14th episode was sad...so many years to have undivided love...and…

I think you made a great point, but might want to mark this as a spoiler...?
C'mon this is a major spoiler. It's the biggest plot twist of the show thus far. This is coming from me who had to console a friend who couldn't watch the show last night because of tight schedule, only for soc med to ruin it for her. She didn't even purposely visit any MLL-related pages, the algorithm did her dirty. Meanwhile, this is MLL's page here so interested people would definitely be lurking
You can defend her actions initially as trying to protect her son but he eventually told the truth and stated…
He recanted his confession about the killing as soon as he somehow got over from the initial shock of Eom Ji's possible death. The series didn't have to blatantly show him telling his Mom the same but it was implied that ever since then, he's been telling everyone that he didn't kill her. In fact he had a similar conversation with his Mom when he visited her in jail but his Mom was already plotting ways to dismiss the case, and he just felt disconnected with her. He went with her fake alibi suggestion as there was no other way to get around it but he didn't know she was busy corrupting the Investigator.
They haven’t explained WHY he did it yet. They’re doing a flashback next week. He tried saying “no” that’s…
True. I feel that he didn't really have a motive to kill her. It's not murder, but homicide. He killed her by accident.
Besides, DC struggled so hard to hide his feelings for DoHa. His homosexuality isn't his main villain arc like what others say, he killed someone and he just happened to like Do Ha.
Sadly, Do Ha might spiral back mentally after this. Just when he finally liberated himself that he didn't kill Eom Ji. Now he'd feel again that it's his fault since Deuk Chan likes him, and that must have been his motive for killing her.
Forgot to congratulate all those who hypothesized the BL arc!! Wowwww. Sorry, I didn't believe you, guys! I just didn't think South Korea is ready for this but yeyyy the writers are really braver now. Way to go! I really loved this plot twist!

'Cause that's what drew me into his character. He just has this overall good guy aura in him.
CLOY, Chicago Typewriter, Alchemy of Souls 1 and 2, etc.
