She's alone most of her life, so whatever danger she might be in, her fight response will only be about herself. Yes, she's now together with Shin Yu, but people who are used to being alone just cannot automatically flip that switch. Even more so that she knows Shin Yu is sick and is also being with his legal work. She didn't want to be his burden, especially that all she has as at the time were mere suspicions.Again, I know it's frustrating but her thought pocess is also understable. In fact, her promising to Shin Yu about sharing burdens with moving forward is such a big step for people like her.

Mine is perhaps a mix of mercy killing and feeling guilty for his actions which led to Aeng Cho's downfall.

Jang Mu Jin might have done something wrong that he felt responsible for it. He didn't want any other person to get cursed as he felt responsible for whatever that happened.

Perhaps, Aeng Cho was in a life and death situation so he killed her to ease her suffering. And since being without her is a death sentence in itself, he chose to get cursed and die early.

Her ego got bruised real hardddd. Plus the downfall in emotions too, she might have felt in cloud nine when Shin Yu prepared everything for her at the start. Who knows what girlie has been imagining, perhaps even went as far as their wedding, only to be pulled down by getting busted for cheating. 😂The spoiled brat in her could never deal with all of that.

Come to think of it, perhaps the cringey side wasn't the Love Spell's doing.
Jang Mu Jin was pretty cringey as well in the Joseon times, trying to woe that little girl, even named her Aeng Cho to make her feel that she's significant too.

Cho Bo Ah has at least 2 projects to be released this year and early 2024. Meanwhile, Rowoon is currently filming for a drama which will be released on Oct 30 and has other projects lined up for 2024.
None of them includes Season 2 for Destined With You.

And dramas like this kind of setup is only geared for 1 season.
