Cool, I'll check it out, thanks! (EDIT: it seems hard to find with english subs, though) Prince of Legend is one of those shows that should have been an anime instead of live action. Everything is super cartoonish and very stylized. CM proves that it's possible to translate a manga to the screen without losing the original charm, but still making it work in the new medium. PoL doesn't, and doesn't even seem interested in trying. Also, the whole concept is for twelve year old girls.
Agreed. Fiat is an attention-seeking brat. He may have his reasons, but we haven't seen any good ones yet. I don't…
I don't know who Kaowna is (pls don't kill me), but I agree with what you said. Fiat's character could a have been really interesting with better writing, better directing and better acting.
Info about the next watch parties (yes, plural, we'll go halfsies) is posted as a comment to the Watch Parties discussion post (until einepriseglitzer updates the main post). Basically, we'll do half on Tuesday and half on Wednesday.
ok, the neighbours, I agree, so far they've been pretty pointless, could still go somewhere though, who knows.…
There is one point to Fiat and Leo, I think, and that is mostly Fiat: He's the plot device that will get Type to agree to marry Tharn. But I do feel like they are adding pointless characters (the neighbour couple and Klui, seriously) instead of giving Tharn and Type a proper plot.
I haven't finished the episode yet but this one seems better than the last ones. More TharnType and more natural…
I think they are using a soft filter on every scene to make the actors look better or something, but it also makes things a bit blurry. It's something that could have been done with makeup and lighting instead, but using a filter is cheaper, I guess...
FINALLY! Ep 19 was so damn cute, and the slow burn was worth it! I just love, love, love their chemistry, and…
I haven't read the novel, so I don't know anything about their characters, but it would be an utter waste if they *didn't* make them a couple! They are so comfortable together and have excellent chemistry, and it shows.
Apparently most of you guys are loving Leo and Fiat. Me, I cannot stand Fiat.I don't care what his "problem" is.…
Agreed. Fiat is an attention-seeking brat. He may have his reasons, but we haven't seen any good ones yet. I don't even get what he's trying to do -- it's obvious that Leo is whipped for him, but Fiat is treating him like an overbearing older brother. I don't even get if he's really serious about Type (as far as someone like Fiat *can* be serious) or if he's just trying to provoke a reaction out of Leo? But when he did get a jealous reaction, he got all upset about it? He's a mess, and so far I can't tell if he is supposed to be or if it's the writing of his character that's a mess. I guess we'll find out.
And the "they're not married so I can do what I want" excuse is so despicable. Like you said, Thailand doesn't even allow same-sex marriage, and also, people who reason like that wouldn't really let marriage stand in their way either. I don't like the term "home wrecker", but it certainly fits Fiat.
I also liked the interactions between Tharn and Type, and the female doctor/nurse is a good friend -- she obviously knows Type has got *someone*, so she's not trying to flirt, she's just being a good colleague.
Dr. Khunpol is cute, but his "help" is just making things worse for Type. And it looks like it's going to get even worse, judging by the preview.
Another Machida interview link. This dude really looks very attractive when he wears suits.https://youtu.be/gKw5C4VXE1I

I've seen full-lenth series that weren't as convincing as this little fluffy slice-of-life supermarket ad (though there was nothing in this last ep about that at all, so they know when to step back and let the drama take over) . Can we talk about the kiss? IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This was most definitely not the dead fish mouth-touch we see in a lot of BL dramas. And the way Win just stuck to Tops like glue, looking like he wanted to eat *him* just as much as his cooking, LOL. Feelings are finally out in the open, and for Win it looks as if his floodgates were opened and now can't be shut again. I also love the comedic moments, like Dome with another futile attempt at getting even a fraction of Tops' attention when Win is in the room (I mean, I do feel a little sorry for him, but these two have been dancing around each other for *months*, and he just doesn't stand a chance), and Win's "What happened to my face!?" at the end.
I'm so glad Jeff and Gameplay will get to be in a full-length series, even if it's not the main roles.
