The servant probably wasn't gay, he just had the relationship with the king bc the king was very close to him since he was a child, he didn't know other kinds of relationships. The king couldn't do the things with the queen, but he cared about her, he just wasn't attracted to her. He chose the servant to do it because he trusted him, and he didn't expect him to fall in love with the queen. The king wasn't a top, he wanted him even after his d being chopped off because he wanted someone to love him (the servant didn't love him, but all the king wanted was to be loved). The servant continued to have an affair with the king bc he was in love with her, and didn't expect the king to cut his d and he didn't expect to be caught during the act.
