Yeah honestly I was so impressed with the Latin American Spanish dub that the contrast when I heard the English dub was wild 😅 I also don't think the voices fit the characters very well in English.

I think in general English dubs leave a lot to be desired, Idk if it's because they don't seem to have a strong history in dubbing media like other countries who have been dubbing content originally in English for decades. Next up, Italian dub. I don't speak italian but I checked it a little already and the voice actors sounded fantastic and very expressive

I took it as anyone younger than 14, which is the lowest rating the movie has gotten in some countries. But personally I think the movie is probably more suited for a 16+ audience.

Erase from your brain anything you may have learned about BDSM from Fifty Shades, it's one of the most erroneous, dangerous and overall worst depictions of a BDSM relationship. Love and Leashes is much more accurate as to how a BDSM relationship is supposed to be, especially for beginners.

The scene where she applies medicine on his back is actually a vital part of a BDSM session called aftercare. Aftercare isn't name dropped in the movie like other BDSM concepts, but I am glad they showed it.

Funny you mention the music thing, because the same thing happened to me. I rated the movie's music 7.5 because I couldn't remember it at all when I first watched it, but upon a rewatch I realized it was because the music accompanied the scenes so organically and fit them so well without being overpowering that you don't notice. It does not affect the flow of the movie at all, but if you ever decide to do a rewatch you'll notice the music is definitely there and it's actually quite lovely :)

I rewatched it dubbed in my first language and I was actually shocked at how good the dub was. The voice actors were super expressive and even though I normally don't like watching things dubbed this was super enjoyable. Only downside is that I think a few things were lost in translation or translated wrong, but overall the general themes were conveyed super well. Next up I'll check out the English dub
