it'll either take the slot of bad buddy or not me (the latter of which will air in a couple weeks). i'm not sure…
you're right. i was thinking enchante might air later on, but i haven't heard about any BLs under gmm tv that are as far in the production process as enchante is. it seems like the only option gmm tv has is to air enchante after not me, but i don't think there's enough time either.

oh, i see what you mean. it might be because not me is airing this year itself and enchante is next year. they probably didn't want to raise hype for enchante yet so everyone could focus on not me first. also, the trailer probably won't be released until january probably, so they might not have wanted to talk about it without a trailer.

unless i missed it, they didn't mention this in the showcase at all 😭 who knows how long we'll have to wait…
i'm pretty sure they only mentioned the new 2022 dramas in the showcase. if y'all remember, enchante is actually part of gmm tv's 2021 list, only pushed back because of covid. there is no need to show it in the showcase since it was already in last year's list. it will air soon, don't worry.

I wonder if they are ever going to produce this one or F4. The program schedule is going to be full based on the…
it'll either take the slot of bad buddy or not me (the latter of which will air in a couple weeks). i'm not sure if they're still filming or working through the post-production process, but i worry if they will finish in time for bad buddy's finale.

I’m sad. I was waiting for their series at the showcase last night but i didn’t see them.
that's because they will be airing this show soon. the showcase was for the new dramas they will be, well, showcasing. enchante was part of last year's showcase.

no problem, i just found out recently as well—came as a shock but it made me realize just how unironically homophobic the bl industry is

HOLD ON- SOTUS? WORST? GIRL I- 😭💀
despite the great chemistry in sotus, it normalized homophobia and used it as a plot device...that's a hard no from me. also it's funny how krist happens to be homophobic as well lol

nah man i mean i totally get what you mean but at the same time saying things like "bottom energy" has become way to normalized. like if a character is nicer/not as aggressive/more feminine we call them bottoms and that just rubs me the wrong way. at its core, we're applying gender norms to same sex couples (not what you were doing but that's how it is) because being a bottom is linked to being a woman in society. top/bottom are sex roles so i don't see why we have to talk about them in relation to characters' personalities when they are completely separate. ik we got a semi-sex scene in you make me dance but sex wasn't even a topic in to my star. hope you get what i mean, sorry if i came off rude

what does being a bottom have to do anything? and why would you assume that they are, anyway? there wasn’t much indication for kangmin, at least, because it’s not important. you assuming that they played bottoms in previous dramas does not link them together in any way.

it's the way i've seen most people abbreviate it but doesn't really matter that much lol tho i agree!! they're all main characters even if some have more lines than others. tho i feel like doyoung is giving antihero vibes and hyunsuk is giving confused protagonist vibes

yoohwan's acting (and by extension, his chemistry with cha woomin) really saved the whole show, honestly! thank god for him. looking forward to more of his works.

I really don't know why this series is getting this much hate.Yes the main character is homophobic but it is internalized…
his homophobia was normalized throughout the entire show and not once posed as something wrong. and then he suddenly stopped being homophobic in like one minute at the very end. they used his dad as an excuse for his homophobia when in reality it was his own fault for being ignorant. he is a grown man. you can only rely on your parents as an excuse for so long. as a gay person, i also grew up with a lot of internalized homophobia, but never once did i use anyone else as an excuse for causing it in me. maybe i used my parents as a reason, but never an excuse. i learned and became more open minded. i dealt with the consequences of my insults towards the lgbt community and became aware of my mistakes. ton never deals with the consequences of how incredibly rude he was to gay people. it's just not even seen as a bad thing. a lot of the time, when he says something homophobic, it's just laughed off. that's not ok. his best friends (who are two men in a relationship) even go as far as to AGREE with him and are thankful when ton decides not to kick them out for being gay (raise any red flags???). don't even get me started on the normalization of rape.

like my advice is don't ever read the comments- like they'll cripple you into not watching something after 2ts…
i understand that not everything is sunshine and rainbows, especially since i am a part of the LGBTQ community, but the problem is that they normalized rape and homophobia. they didn't bring it up and make it seem like a terrible thing gay people go through, they just used it as a plot device and then let it go after that. his best friends enabled his internalized homophobia and they used his dad as an excuse for it when in reality it was just him being an ignorant asshole who was unwilling to change. and then he suddenly stopped being homophobic in like one minute. it makes no sense. they should've used the dad as a reason, not an excuse. overall, the series perpetuated a rape and an anti-gay culture that is used for sh*ts and giggles. i do not want this kind of representation for the lgbt community. not one bit.
