I NEED TO SCREAM ABOUT HOW DOWN BAD LU FENG IS BECAUSE THAT MAN IS DESPERATELY IN LOVE😭😭He saw Yi Chen once and immediately decided ‘yeah that’s my person’ and then proceeded to dedicate his entire LIFE to loving him. Like not metaphorically. Literally. And what destroys me is that it never feels shallow or temporary or lust driven. Lu Feng loves him in this all consuming, soul deep, devastating way where Yi Chen genuinely became the axis his whole world spins around. It’s actually painful to witness because you can FEEL how much he loves him 😭

If Yi Chen doesn’t want him, I can sacrifice myself for the cause 😎😎

Absolutely! He was beaten almost daily with a bat (crazy behavior. his father genuinely should’ve been in jail for the abuse tbh), he was shipped off to America, and not once did he give up on his love for Yi Chen. Even now, after being threatened with being cut off from the inheritance, he still chose Yi Chen all over again.

And then Yi Chen shows up ready to marry someone else just because his mother insisted? Hell no. I completely understand why Lu Feng snapped. After everything he sacrificed and gave up for love, that’s the reward he gets?

Totally! He’s basically throwing away everything for Yi Chen. One can even understand why he will lose his mind

I haven’t read the novel but from what I gathered, Yi Chen’s mother will have an heart attack when she finds out about the relationship and she will ask Yi Chen to marry a woman. Yi Chen will accept and at this point Lu Feng will loose his mind (understandably because he basically got thrown away just because Yi Chen’s mother is homophobic) and he will do a lot of terrible things out of anger. Some of those things are: Kidnapping Yi Chen, SA, extreme violence and other violent acts.

Consider that now he’s in his good mood and still madly in love and he showed us just a fraction of the anger that simmers under his skin.

It is cute in some ways, because they are in love, but it is also very very dark and it will get worse 👀 and I’m telling you because if ep 4 traumatized you what will come will definitely be difficult to watch for you.
