Lol i wish i was active here during the time this drama aired. It must have been fun with all the deep discussions, really the only thing that keeps you going with watching a bad drama is the comment section.
I need a drama with Hwang In Yeop as the ML now, this man can act. I didn't know him before I watched this drama,…
Going into this drama, i had absolutely no idea of In Yeop and who he was, i didn't care of his character and was more looking forward to the main leads. Oh how the tables have turned
As a user said, i think the only reason why Seojun doesn't confess to Jugyeong for a whole two years is because he knows it'll not work out. And thats not because of her rejecting him, but more of a common reason regarding morals. If it was me, i would have let my feelings all out (to get it over with) so i was kind of confused with why Seojun is just hurting himself more. But then i realized that him and Suho have a bigger brotherly bond, more than him attempting to ask out your close friends gf. So ultimately, whats leading him to not confess is not just because of Jugyeong, but more inclination to his friendship with Suho.
He already regretted and promised himself to never treat Suho like the way his highschool self did for the most part, which is why he is putting friendship over love. I love how in one of the episodes the writer actually foreshadowed this concept of friendship over love. The character development is so precious. I wholeheartedly agree that u should never hurt a good friend of yours for a girl/boy.
So even though i am able to get that its painful (similar experience) sometimes sacrifices are needed in life. He will surely be able to move on as time goes by but it will take a long time.
Exactly the whole plot got overshadowed by a love triange
tbh its not even a love triangle. like JG doesn't even acknowledge Seojun, how is it a love triangle? It's more of a love segment but us fans have made it look more complicated than the writer ever made it to be.
so how did we end up with teams? well its easy to figure out. the two mls are both charming with completely different personalities, so preferance starts overtaking us which results in this whole battle of who deserves Jugyeong. Its obviously Suho and JG who have a better connection but u see, a lot people use their emotions more than their brains when it comes to drama, which ultimately leads people to want Seojun to be with her.
if this whole fandom was out of the whole teams thing, imagine how much more enjoyable the comments would be but oh well lol
I know some people don't see the chemistry in them, which i can understand given the fact that Jugyeong doesn't…
No dont feel sorry lol. Omg yes! i do like this couple as well but my heart is more content with JG and SH in the BTS. Idk why, but since Eunwoo is obviously more of the playful type in real life, i love seeing his and Gayoungs interactions, like they lowkey flirt with eachother, they make it so obvious T_T Just date already. I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Though in the drama, my heart lowkey feels some type of way when theres SJ and JG scenes. Their relationship is more friendly and dramatic (sort of sensual). Just a lil guilty pleasure of mine lol.
I guess you could say i just prefer these type of relationships where the soulmates radiate chaotic energy eheheh.
I have to be honest, i feel as if Soojin's character pathway is incomplete and sort of messy . I didn't mind that she suddenly turned into an antagonist. Antagonists in shows can shine in their own twisted way as well. Ever heard of Harley Quinn?
But idk, for her character execution, it looks wasted. I even forgot that she was part of the lead role. It looks like the writer just wanted to get rid of her to get his job done but maybe i'm a little too early to judge, so we'll see where this goes :)
Once my Team Seojun heart decided to accept defeat and once I finally was okay with Suho and Jukyeongs relationship…
I know some people don't see the chemistry in them, which i can understand given the fact that Jugyeong doesn't even look at him lol. However, i personally see a lot of spark. Maybe cause i prefer that playful type of love? Where one another teases eachother, being super dramatic for no reason. And whenever he smiles when she turns away, my heart. I think the reason why so many of us still feel second lead syndrome could be just because of the webtoon, charisma, and/or different preferance in relationship types. Objectively speaking, they have no chemistry since its only one sided but preferably speaking, its a guilty pleasure, its a lot of our fantasies lol.
