i like your objective view and i agree, i think most people, including me, just are so hurt for Seojun because we have had this bond with him from the webtoon and sometimes second lead crisis comes with the personality and charisma, which is why a lot swoon over him, even though theres no rightful justification that he and Jugyeong are a thing, she doesn't even acknowledge him lol

Like i'm so drowned in school and schedule that i watch the episode at least few hours after it released. Or even 2 days later maximum. As someone said, "Do they have to keep reminding us that Seojun has an unrequited love?" He's such a complex characters and deserves so much more than simping over a girl who can't even acknowledge him lol. Idk how things are gonna end up in 4 episodes but I HOPE he does not lose himself over a naive girl. Even if he is the second lead, he shines so much that it's a shame he's a mere third wheel.

Though its cliche that Suho (might) be going back to Japan to only return back later right in the next episode (so unnecessary) i don't actually mind. JGxSH relationship has always been so raw and beautiful. An on and off relationship is quite natural considering its their first, so actions will obviously be full of flaws. It's not toxic, just imperfect because we make mistakes, learn, and grow from love.

However, what i would have a problem with is that Seojun might get closer with her, only to be more hurt in the end? I don't see what the point of that is. These last few episodes have shown me that Seojun is a very dynamic character. He has more depth than people make it to be.

For example, its most likely that he had knowledge about Jugyeongs bare face way before confronting the bully since there is multiple specific evidence of how he is becoming more and more aware of the things around him.

So i hope in the last episodes, he is not used as a mere rebound for a naive girl who can''t even acknowledge his efforts as a friend. This trope is so outdated and stupid, especially considering how smart Seojun actually is.
