I don't think you are able to empathize with the ML at all. The ML grew up estranged from his own biological father…
I agree . that part of him agreeing to slaughter a whole ass house gull of children and women made it clear how his nature is very violant and dark. so I take him for who he us the morally gray murderous vengeful protag . I don't need to idolize my protagonists for me to enjoy their stories and I think this gives his character more dimension that the typical noble ML.
FL is first tier here. the maturity, intelligence and courage is unparalleled I am glad they kept the reborn concept and actually utilized it well. FL is no naive young girl and it shows.
Yeah the story is repetitive and have been done better before. everyone taking themselves way too seriously is a bit ridiculous. BUT I like the FL's personality and ML is ✨HOT✨ and cool . Generally good acting all around especially ML . that's plenty enough for me. SEATED.
This drama had one of the best MLs and one of the worst FLs in dramas of the same genre. it was a struggle seeing everyone in the team having a legit arc , Even the "evil" ones had moments to shine. everyone but her... I kept waiting for her to stop crying and save others for once instead of always being the damsel in distress. Some goddess she was. especially as the final episodes loomed. but nah she kept weeping on the floor in different decors and clothes. Anyway , this drama introduced me to the ML actor i will keeping my eyes on him . I watched him before in back from the brink but he didn't impress me as much as here. Ending was weak. but I was prepared mentally for that I guess so didn't bother me as much.
I dropped so many shows recently some even well after the 30th episode. I literally lost hope but I am glad I finally found a show that I am looking forward to everyday again.
