what a perfect ending! I am so happy about the last few episodes . they delivered and more. this is truly my favorite show of the year now. 10/10

Song han is the weakest villain yet. he has such punchable face. I just want him to be off'ed quickly. and be done with his face on screen.
SML is much more grounded character even though he has opposing positions from protags.

I hope they don't ruin SML. earlier in the episodes , he was shaping up to be one of the best. he was refreshing and I hoped it would stay platonic. but now i'm just hoping he isn't the typical SML crazy about FL

Everyone and their mother gets poisoned in cdramaland lmao. and there is always a magical pill that cure ALL diseases. I mean I expect it when it's wuxia and other genres but here I guess I hoped for more seeing the restrain of this show so far.

I don't like the hatred induced inexplicable illness . Despite its fantasy elements,I liked how blossom is very grounded and I don't know I just assumed that the white hair is a condition ML has. like something normal. a lot of people have conditions where they get white hair at a young age. I didn't particularly enjoy the explanation.
Also the father is just too evil to stupidity level.

I can't stop gushing over this director. His directing decisions this episode alone like the way ming died while her husband was throwing up or the gun scene . I want him to direct every costume drama from now on lmao.
and the actress is amazing. I loved how she strikes a perfect balance. commanding and authoritative when she has to be and vulnerable and coy when she is with ML.😭

and what an FL! I literally think this FL might dethrone Dream of Splendor FL in my books who is my ultimate costume drama FL.
Courage, location , situation. the way she cleverly maneuvered her way around that death trap and it came out as totally organic on screen. because her character was built correctly from the get go.
I feel like I can wax poetics about her.

what a couple of episodes. INTENSE couldn't begin to describe it. I was on the edge of my seat throughout.

I love how this show contrary to normal rebirth stories proved that education is what makes a character. Not just inherent nature.

I actually lost interest in brocade odyssey mainly because of those annoying endless SMLs.
the SML here is chef's kiss. he has an actual personality and outlook at life and I hope he stays friends with FL till the end.
