exactly! it's refreshing

i already know what's going to happen but i still obsess over each episode and can't wait for the next one. that's how captivating lusi's acting is. honestly the ML too cz of his subtle facial changes (today's slight smile when his wife slapped the 2nd lead gave vibes of "she still wants me, she's just being tough") i can't wait when his tough indifferent guy acts falls when he realizes it's really over ( i honestly believe his harshness is just a mask but the moment they're themselves he'll be soft again (he claims it's acting but i think he was subconsiously himself for a while)

ok hear me out, the Ml's an ass and deserves a witch hunt but i think he's internally conflicted. he was genuinely surprised finding out she loved him and you could see him in pain at her meltdown but he's a rich guy with a guilty past so a big part of him is cynical enough to not believe anything she says (we saw her perspective so we know she loves him but how can he?) she hasn't asked for anything but she tried hard to be his wife and hide her past his initial interaction with her post revelation will be bad and cold (especially cz she still wanted to be with him after him being harsh), given time their dynamic might've changed but he still will be in control so they both needed the divorce to cut ties and have her reinvent herself for him to be able to see the real her cz in his mind the act never ended (you can't build something without a foundation) is he an asshole in general, yes . Does he need to seriously grovel to get her back, yes . But, he's still a proper ML and i approve of his treatment of the 2nd FL (can't send her to a mental institution cz he still needs her father's support but he doesn't fall in her arms just cz she's mental) just hope he gets retribution to set his cynicism aside and be the FL's knight again (with all the dark edges targeted at other and not her )

i hope rumors about the son not being his to be false. yes it would be better for the couple if he wasn't but i feel sorry for the kid during the fallout. it's not like they'll erase him from the family register or kick him out (worse plot device) so what's the point of making him not realated to the ML other than add more trauma. the FL is the type that if she decides to love the ML again, she'll fully commit with or without the added child

the "explaining the child's pain to the parents/ML" scene is so wholesome but so very sad. The Fl's going out of her way to be sincere towards everyone (even towards her sister who isn't even slightly empathetic to find out her sister's pain which she speaks of or why she went out of her way to cut ties("not that close to mom and dad" my ass-how blind was she not to notice how lonely she was (it wasnt just one problem or 2)) only to be treated coldly and misunderstood ("u didn't love me either" ) just cz she lied about her parents. if money was all she cared about she wouldn't have worked hard to make ppl happy or use her efforts at work

yh that's my question, what business? cz all she's done is hosting and no business ideas or foreshadowing of anything

regarding the new job the FL ends up doing with her sister and friends (maybe the nice assistant/collegue is one), what is that job exactly? all she's done is TV hosting

nvm that woman does not deserve our FL one bit. i really hope the ML becomes a paragon of green forestation to atone for his schemes and his family's treatment of her cz she deserves all the love she can get (yes she lied but with a mother in law like that i'd doubt my worth too and lie about my background but she has been sincere towards the ML from the star and even had him meet her most precious person)

oh i meant both their acts that's why i can't take him being sweet

Something I don't get is the mother in law's coldness towards the FL when her son's marrying her to cover up his scandal/child. kinda shameless? or maybe she's trying to save her from this marriage or giving her tough love as pointers for improvement. honestly i think she might become an ally/new motherly figure post the FL's change to her real self

when should we expect the truth bomb? cz i can't take anymore of the ml being a sweet and loyal husband when this has all been an act (on both their sides) so i need it all out in the open already so the angst can start and the lies stop

nope they butchered usagi's morality scale big time. i was even rooting for their survival only for arisu to dump her ass the moment she woke up (the fact that she didnt lose the baby was so unrealistic cz pregnancy that early is risky enough let alone a suicide attempt). also her emotional affair? yes her father's suicide affected her but trying to die with SOMEONE ELSE is next level, he even said " i thought we were alike and wanted the same thing- to die" while literally trying to survive the games, hypocrites much? defending that manipulative asshole in front of others is one thing but infront of arisu? That man cheated death for her and that's his treatment? sorry their reunion pissed me off cz i needed him to guilt trip her a bit (just be less of a green flag for a moment) while informing her of her pregnancy cz the moment she pushed arisu away from the wheelchair guy (he deserves no name for putting them in this situation just cz he listened to a stranger so he can get an in to the games then procedes to try to survive- just die already, wasnt that what u wanted? why fall for someone and come between the leads?) i stopped rooting for that relationship. the worst thing was how he needed to tell her "i'm never leaving you usagi" to reassure her when SHE NEEDED TO GROVEL or just be the more apologitic of the 2, not him. yes she was battling depression and yes she does not need to apologize for confiding in a psychologist for that but the moment she tried to survive the games and got her will back (pretty fast if u ask me) and regretted her decision, a sorry arisu was not enough. she was acting like buisness as usual towards arisu and i didn't like it. I preferred her season 1 and 2

the first time travel drama to end with a snipet of their life post reunion! not just staring at one another with a smile. AND I"M LOVING IT. only comment tho is the cringe joseon accent in modern setting but they wanted us to know it's the king. still the dialogue was giving me goosebumps.

yes which is why he is portrayed as bad for the ML of both sequels yet no understanding towards him till the end. that's what's sad. i hope the final installment (modern time ) will show that side of him but as far as i know he is still misunderstood by his son (he actually does shitty actions) and nothing is addressed after their memories returned so it is a sad ending for the prequel's leads

i hate what's become of the father considering he was such an advocate of peace and a loving husband. i guess being the only one left changes a person but i hope the ML gets a glimpse to his father's past or just ends up understanding him by the end cz it would be sad if he's the villain to both the ML and his cousin (that would make the prequel a sad ending) at least i would love a happy ending for all in the modern world

anyone else cringed out with the kaiyan's voice and dialogue? sorry i just can't hear him acting young without cringing out. especially as the seond brother and not eldest. they should've switched but i guess he'd then be underpaid since the second brother has a more villainous role. still this is just wrong. his scenes with his family are just too uncomfortable

ok the brothers need to die, sorry they deserve zero redemption. what kind of hypocrisy is this? they almost brought a worse wolf in sheep's clothing than LCF and they blame their brother? who sacrificed his life to prove he was right and was not the only one deceived by LCF. "from now on u're not my brother"? sure, he's better off not having you as a brother or even an ally, u'd cause his death. they both have zero skills in leadership and loyalty. ZERO . it's so sad ppl like them exist irl

since this guy is not worth rooting for and the ML's group isn't as reliable (kinda feel like side kicks rather than equals), does the ML at least get an equal to confide in later on? maybe his FL? thought it would be LSF but he's borderline down a dark path so i hope ML has someone

I'm scared to start this cz i know chinese transmigration dramas always end with a return to the modern world without the new relationships and memories being there so he's the only one remembering and maybe his love interest but this drama seems to focus on the friendship so not having that at the end either would just be sad
