according to spoilers, the first life was him as a human and her as the original demon king but he killed her and the whole next lives was vengeance/repentance for him but then why did she become a human throughout those lives? he retained his demonic origin this life after dying (his subordinate saved his spirit) but is she human cz no one saved her? I'm actually curious about her first life subordinates then cz if she ends up with memories of all her lives while no one from her past is alive then it'd be sad (except the ml ofc) at least his cat's alive

ok I need help confirming something. the ml planned on infiltrating the residence with the fl knowing his identity (there was eye contact before so his identity was already known ) but he didn't account for amnesia but now that he remembers, does that mean he knows that she already knew who he was but kept it a secret and treated him not as one would treat a magistrate (not too badly but kinda degrading) even if feelings developed. basically he'd be angry with her? and she'd be angry when she finds out his scheming but basically not one side is in the wrong?

yh that's why I'm asking rather than basing it on the previews (only seen the betrayal scene and clips of snippets of their moments together to get a feel of the drama's tone) cz if I don't have the patience to watch an ongoing drama that starts out strong but loses sanity by the end anymore. just wanted to know the particular reasoning behind hong ye's forgiveness with the fl considering it wasn't a simple betrayal but a full on united front against him that resulted in death

I'm hesitant to start this (still seeing previews tho) cz we can see that he was betrayed in the past and yet there was confrontation or anything so far and the leads just falling in love. I'm sure she's the person in his past but he forgave her killing him that easily? just cz she does not remember? then when she needs to go to the past now wouldn't that mean that he'll have to confront the fact that she really is the same person who killed him? is he waiting for an explanation or has he forgiven her from the beginning anyways? thought it'd be similar to feud but no anger so far (healthy but kinda anticlimactic so I'm not sure to start given how chill the vibe might be)

is he tho? his post amnesia self is a milder version but I hope when he gets his memories back he's a mix so he'd still have the capacity of being gentle/non red flag with the fl while retaining his scheming/dark self for the villains

hers is a genuine love and the actress expresses with such raw precision! he's starting to see her charm and the jealousy is sparking that but for him to fully comprehend her love he'd need to find her fan merch and the childhood connection (maybe a pic of her teenage self will spark some memories but honestly this girl deserves the world! the empathy she has for his emotions and the genuine understanding of his suffering is more than just what a fan feels. not saying fans are selfish but the normal response is to dwell on ur own emotions first and what's familiar then proceed to understand after the other person expresses their emotions but she went beyond that and admitted her shortcomings. her feelings will turn romantic after adapting to this version of himself

great thanks for the thorough explanation! I don't mind the zero intimacy but cz nothing is coming up on YouTube I can't sense if they have chemistry to pull off a romcom but it's good so far! I hope once they start dating it's quite sincere and balanced. what scares me is her initially reluctance and her shyness while he's intense so it might come off as one sided or she's not that into him. considering it's done and no breakup so far, it seems they're adapting well to dating

before watching, can I know a few key moments? what ep does the fl realise she likes the ml too and when do they officially get together? I know it's more of a comedic drama but after seeing his breakup with the ex and her betrayal, this guy deserves someone who sincerely likes him (not sure the fl has that vibe but still is better than the ex)

I forgot to ask before watching, is the novel HE or Open ending? also since it's time traveling starting from this life, how does she know the other lives are hers since they'll be new memories for her ( meaning it was never amnesia so does she know she needs to go back cz those lives are her future)

But why would the previous life vanish if the second one vanished tho? She had to go back to kill him to have the current life but what was bad about the previous one that they couldn’t just stay together (I’m guessing the ml would ask that too) I get she wanted the current one to stay but there is no reason to end the previous one (same ppl anyways)
Now that it happened, does she remember the past then goes back in time? Or are her memories of the past gone but she still goes back to keep the current life intact?

wait why tho? is she not the same person but another life? if she is then she could've lived with him peacefully as ningan and the whole xiaoyao life wouldn't have needed to happen (why the heartbreak?) or did he need to go through this pain as some sort of destined tribulation so the death had to happen anyways?

I haven't watched yet cz I'm waiting for a bit of the plot to move forward since she has no memories but I wanted to know what led her to kill him (wasn't even sealing or anything just united killing) but she also kills herself? then what's the point? it makes even less sense

Are there spoilers for why the betrayal happened? It’s death so there really is no excuse from the fl’s side even if she cried after killing him. I’m guessing she wasn’t fully onboard or a misunderstanding cz she lost her memories (is human now) so someone’s behind it

I don't get it. she's mature, smart, beautiful, and vibing so well with the ml so smoothly. the guy makes her smile without even trying and she stops crying around him. she even said she wished she met him first cz of how well they work and yet she's stuck on that 2nd lead? I get it's hard to let go of crushes but if the attraction itself makes no sense to me then the residual feelings she still has make less sense. the ml's friend was right, "what are ur standards if Lin yusen doesn't make the cut?" 2nd lead is half the man this green forest of a creature in front of u !!! I get the initial hesitation but if the previews are right then the tension between her and the 2nd lead is still long from gone which annoys me. his interaction with her infront of the restroom was proving my point more and enough tears were shed for this guy!

ugh why is her heart still fluttering for that guy? she's still so affected by him and I don't get why. she saw how a real gentleman should act through the ml the previous day and still stares at the 2ml during the wedding? I would get it if they dated or if he was good at least once to her but the red flag was blazing hot u can't miss the signs (especially the wine dumping at the end of ep 11 (he won't apologise but silently standing as the rest go to her) I need this guy's arc to be done already

Wow wait the dad’s involved? Wasn’t it just the girl asking for a date with the ml? He had an accident which was unfortunate but it wasn’t her fault (her only issue is saying she’s the dad’s daughter) but still for the dad to reject their relationship? Why? There was no real hate or crime involved

considering they get together after he finds out the truth (second confession) does he let her know why he misunderstood and everything is out before they get together or will she know further in the relationship

it's the amount of shares, her family's more tho it's really the dad and she's not into generational benefits so she most probably won't be the future boss at least not for him if he leaves the field to dabble with medicine again

considering he's having a hard time just playing games (totally realistic) and is using glasses to drive then no he most probably was allowed in the OR to check on a patient (still licensed) or has a related desk job (he consulted in the recent eps so it could be similar to that)
