If you loved Go Ahead, I would definitely recommend "Meet Yourself". It'sby the same screenwriting couple. Gorgeously calm, healing slice of life, with a very healthy, slow burn romance. And a diverse range of strong female characters. Btw, did you know there's a Kdrama remake of Go Ahead, in the offing? *sigh I'm going away to look up Circle now...
Yeah, it’s unfortunate how negativity often gets more attention here. Some people just seem to thrive on drama,…
Well I'm basic too then 🤷 I'll just add it to my list of traits assigned by other MDL users. Too bad I already know who I am, as I'm sure you know who you are too ❤️
i don t know the korean law , i guess the wife was with the husband because she had nowhere to go . her parents…
SK does not have "No fault" divorce. If both parties do not agree, then you have to go to court to prove the other person is at fault for some reason.e.g. abuse, adultery etc. So the onus is on the one seeking a divorce, to gather all the evidence. But the court can still rule against your petition for divorce. This is one of the reasons why "No Fault Divorce", protects victims of domestic and family abuse.
why does the law firm CEO hate Cha Eun Kyung so much? I don't get it!
This is the single plot point that keeps throwing me out of this drama. There's no way in hell, the CEO of a law firm, would want to get rid of such a successful attorney. Regardless of his prejudices, she has a massive public profile and is a massive money maker for the firm and therefore him. There's no way you'd get rid of her. It's just creating lame conflict for the sake of conflict. So unrealistic, soooooo frustrating....
i just wanna kill the mother. The way she neglects her own child just nauseates me. i feel bad for the fl
I'm intrigued by your comment because it's one of very few...early in the airing most were ranting about what a terrible, jealous daughter she was, to be so resentful of the foster kids. I would love for the mother character to be fleshed out a bit, so we understand why she neglected her daughter and took on so many foster children.
I just had a skin crawling thought...PLEASE let this be "Fruits Basket", and not a remake of the pretty and dead-eyed, soul-less "Knights of The Zodiac" 🥶
The two diseases on the cigarette packets - Stroke and lung cancer; is this an 'in' joke because they're both…
To explain with complete clarity... Cigarette packets in SK, have warning labels showing graphic images of the ways in which smoking can kill you. (Same in Australia) At the convenience store when she asks for cigarettes, Byeon Woo Seok offers her a choice between Lung Cancer or Stroke - I thought it might be a cheeky reference to some of the ways in which he died in LR, but evidently it's not. *sigh* 😶🫥
They probably had this debate in the translation group. I'd much rather have had "geek" instead of "nerd." I would…
I would still argue for Otaku. The nuances straight from Japanese, are pretty commonly understood in English, and geek and nerd are not really 'it'. As I said, it's in common usage in English now.
I know commenting about this here, has no effect, but I just want to vent... The subs translation of otaku to nerd, is starting to grate. Otaku has widespread usage in English. Much like Kimchi, it doesn't need translation!

Let it be something wholly original and amazing 🙏
