I haven't watched this yet, but i don't understand what you mean. Aren't they a couple? Isn't there meant to be…
I understand where you're coming from, but for me, for my community, moving forward, I see the only way is for 'active enthusiastic consent'. Then there is no grey area of, "I didn't ask for consent, but they didn't say no..."

Yes ask in some way, every time. If this is annoying then you're with the wrong person. Yes skinship is essential but it should be mutual and respectful. Otherwise aren't you forcing your own needs on someone else?! It's simple isn't it? In a healthy and happy relationship, you should respect the other person's boundaries and you should want them to be happy and feel good. If you don't, then you are with the wrong person.

Yes I would. "I find Oh My Ghost", for example, very disturbing! And yes, you should ALWAYS ask permission. ALWAYS! Clear, enthusiastic consent is a must. This comes down to being clear, that the person you are having skinship with, is wanting that. You should want your intimate partner to be happy and comfortable. Pressuring someone else, to meet your needs is just wrong to me. How can the 'skinship' be good if only one of the participants is enjoying it?!
In this show, the skinship is presented as him being quite domineering and forceful, and her showing discomfort but acquiescing. I understand that some people find this 'a thing', but I find it disturbing and I worry it sends a confusing message of what is acceptable.
There is plenty about this show, to like, so do go ahead if it sounds like your thing,, but for me, the skinship scenes are not it.
I just want huijoo and tae oh ends up together please they look so good together
I so disagree. Hui Joo's only redeeming quality is that she welcomes her illegitimate sibling In Ha, but that could be purely rebellion against her toxic mother. She is co-ercive and entitled. (Much like her siblings) Look at what she does to Tae Oh's car (remember he's poor and she's rich - car panel repairs cost $$$$$$$$) to force his attention! If he were IRL, I'd want him to find someone completely outside this toxic circle of characters.
This man is a true chameleon actor. What a talent! Just watched a promo interview about Killer Paradox, and finally clicked, who he has played in other movies/dramas I've viewed. Not good for my PTW list because I'm adding EVERYTHING!
But how is he meant to make his bold vision witbout money? Great that you're so idealistic, but it's not realistic.…
Re artistic integrity; I think his own words contradict yours, "...they respect the originality of the work..." Every artist/creative dreams of this! To be funded to pursue your original idea would be a dream come true. AND a platform that will screen that vision all over the world! But we will have to wait and see who's right; Park hoon Jung or you.
Disney's creativity boils down to this - this is what it contributes to a project, boardroom idiots:"Originally…

they changed a lot, especially, the husband, he wasnt this supportive of her, he never did anything bad to her,…
Great comment! I had the same response when I first saw the movie - it was so much more hopeful than the novel! But I keep flip-flopping. Currently I can't watch the movie, because it's frustrating and waters the novel down too much. Clearly my opinion depends on my mood and how much misogyny and male entitlement I've witnessed beforehand 🤣
Kudos to the movie-makers for bringing this story to the mainstream and shining a light on the novel. I guess if you are sensitive and you like your misogyny displayed gently, then the movie is a better option. I think however, the novel is more realistic, stark and enraging! Truths not just in SK but worldwide.
I really wanted to like this, but when they do finally get together, so much of the skinship, is initiated by Ding Ran without Xi Le's consent. It's disturbing!
I've been trying to figure out why this show became boring in the last few episodes. It has become a typical procedural…
To be fair, it is a police procedural, based on an established format from Russia. That might be why it feels 'typical' 🤷♂️ But I agree with you about the whole chaebol-ly thing. It does make it more entertaining.
Taiwan does it again!

I 'm hoping that's the tone from here on
