I will not support bullies or rapists. They are equally bad. I know many people want to justify bullying, and will…
I support you having a strong point of view, and I understand you are trying to make a forceful point. But I am sorry, I profoundly disagree with you and am here to categorically say: Comparing Rape and Bullying is harmful and concerning. They are in no way equal and should NOT be considered so. You can certainly consider both of these acts as very serious and harmful, but please 🙏 don't compare them.
I think the murder of a child by burning to death, along with their mother and another man, fits the genre. And…
It's definitely leaning more into the romantic comedy genre, at this point, so I don't think you're unreasonable in calling it. But there's a lot more to come, so I'm willing to wait a see.
My god the rating drop is atrocious, it was 8.0 just hours ago idk what happened tf?!
I think fans of the thriller tag, might be a factor. I've found the fan base of that genre, to be pretty strict in their expectations. (But that is a generalisation, sorry!)
it has thriller as a genre here, 9 eps in WHERE is the thrill
I think the murder of a child by burning to death, along with their mother and another man, fits the genre. And the ML flashbacks of said fire... But it's stated from the very beginning, it's trying to fit all genres, so I guess you just have to embrace it. Or not.
This is very slightly spoilery but just for scenes, not for plot...
Ep 3, I can't explain why a ludicrous dance scene gives me so much joy, but it does. (Unlike a ludicrous musical/singing number - yep I am inconsistent) The tropes in this are just so silly, funny and kind of joyful. [I'm talking about you ridiculous pool scene, with hair flick and near drowning; amongst others!]
I'm in too! But this premise is not entirely unprecedented:1997 - Liar, Liar - Hollywood movie starring Jim Carreyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1no75lpOiw…
I thought your first comment was sarcastic 😁but it's kind of lovely that it wasn't!
Surely this is just Korean nationalism at play. PPL is a standard of Kdrama, so pointing out its usage here is laughable and is just further advertising of the cars. The real problem is it's not a Korean made car, not that it's PPL.
Ryan Gold is frequently lauded in drama articles, as a 'green flag' boyfriend because he supports her fangirl status. I feel like this massively underrates him. He is a green flag, because he tries to support her in a lesbian relationship (albeit a misunderstanding) in a culture where this is STILL not protected by anti-discrimination law. Clearly, he has COMPASSION - the ultimate green flag attribute.
You can certainly consider both of these acts as very serious and harmful, but please 🙏 don't compare them.
