You can find raw up until episode 12 on a couple of (illegal) sites, but for English subtitles there's only up til 6 as far as I know. Episodes 7-12, whether they're raw or subtitled are for vip as far as I can tell.

Question from episode 6: when Li Shimin and Du Ruhui are talking about Changge, whenever the crown prince's seal is mentioned it sounds seriously over dubbed. Were they supposed to say something else, and if so what? Does anyone know?

Probably referring to a spoiler released for ep 18, where it's said in a conversation between Wei Shuyu and Hao Du that they still haven't found her.

Don't feel too bad, the historical dramas are a pain in the ass language-wise, even for the actors. I tried watching some raw episode of this one, but I seem to understand less than I normally do. I'd say I understand almost 80 % otherwise I think. Enough to not want to re-watch with English subs at least. Sothis time I'm probably gonna spoil things for myself, skipping through raw episodes, and then I'll still have to watch them with English subs xD

That would definitely have improved things :D they should have kissed when she was in the prison as well. Yep, I think that would have done it. 2 more kisses and the ending would have greatly improved.

That sounds at least a little bit better. But still. How is it that I've ended up following c-dranas as they air? I never did that before. Causing me nothing but trouble, and constantly trying my patience xD

4 episodes per week?! Maybe I should hold off on starting this, I think 6 episodes a week is too slow..... I'll just end upp watching the raw if the subs are released at too slow a pace. I've lost interest in a couple of dramas lately that way xD

Totally agree about we should have had more lovey dovey scenes. Cause unfortunately, in the end, the only thing that really kept the story together was their love for each other. The last 10 episodes could have been saved had we been allowed to see more of their happy marriage life. As it is now, I sort of feel like I kept on going for nothing after episode 35....

I can see where you're coming from. I was totally addicted to this series before, but for the last couple of episodes it's starting to wear of.

This is the only plotline so far that I have a real problem with. I can put up with Qiao Yiniang and her machinations, but having Shiyi belive even for one second that Xu Lingyi killer her mother really did this series a disservice, and it honestly didn't make sense that she would fall for it. I actually skipped the entire investigation part of that cause it sort of irritated me. However, her regret, and the fallout of it is acted out so well, and they didn't drag it out for several episodes, so I forgive them. After episode 35 almost everything is forgiven LOL

You can do what I did. Skip half of episode 27, which I found to be the difficult part to handle. LOL Other than that I can comfort you by telling you that it's all resolved rather quickly.

That would actually be a good plottwist, if she was involved even way back then.

Preview for ep 38. Let the speculation begin. Who's the spy? I first thought it looked like Dongqing, wich sort of got me in a panic. But now I don't think so. Not sure who it looks like. Any thoughts?
