And my lady I think you should write a special review for this drama OST. I mean 2019 was peak cdrama time for me namely on the OSTs/BGMs overall quality. And as Goodbye my Princess's, Joy Of Life's, or Story of Minglan's, Longest day in Chang'An's OST was filled with soulful bops ! Til date I listen to those songs and I even tear up when listening to them BGMs.
One the best thing about this drama is the good use of foreign actors (very rare in Asian dramaland). Djimon Hounsoun acting ability was not done dirty. Guy was powerful as the "other emperor" of Chang'An and the feared leader of the underworld. Then the Persian Friar character was written so fun and undearing I missed him after his last appearance. I wished he stayed longer.
Yes our didi go to gym a lot and got a ripe body but when I see WXY his face always screams "Gregory Peck" for me. Plus I like how I think Wang Xing Yue voice sounds nice the same I did about Mr Greg's (both got nice charismatic voices)

Zhang Ruo Yun and Zhou Yi Wei in the same drama 🤯🤯🤯 ! Imagine Liu yi Fei was in the show 😱. I don't care if the plot is about flying monkeys I gotta watch it 😦
Is Wang Xing Yue character really paired with DaiSi character ? I hope this is the case cause from the promos I see on tencent it seems they wanna pair him with the actress playing Lin Lin 🤐
