I tell you girl that spirit of passion is found in that underground cdramaworld. I mean a 94'er willing to work hard enough and make people believe he is decades older than he really is while playing his peers's father or uncle onscreen and have everyone fooled ? Wow !

Huang Jing Zhou. I have a biasness towards this actor. I think he got potential and is serious at being a good actor. On BiliBili you can see some footages of him playing different characters while projecting different emotions.
Marcus Sim I like that guy as well. More neutral than Avenue. He just gives information and talk about what drama he likes and watches. His concept is more keep my channel as positif as possible. The only bad things he talks about are celebrities news scandals and it is only giving information. That's it.

Certain things she can say about this or that drama can be true but I guess she got the talented person big head ? And I sense a person that is way too aware of her skills ? Now I think the word I will use to describe those short/underground cdramas is : Passion. There is that spirit of passion behind those I have seen so far and that worked for me. The very rare standard hit cdramas that worked for me last year (Reset/LBFAD/Strange tales of Tang dynasty/Blood of youth) had it. Now to talk about those short dramas I say I use that word to describe it cause with the lack of means and what not they have been driven by passion to keep pushing themselves and give us sometimes contents that at least hooked us : for example : dramas like "circle of love" or "Maids revenge" could get followers cause they were not afraid of displaying the passionate relationship btw the leads. Those are lakorny and they fully serve that spirit one see in those thai shows without holding back hate it or love it. Short dramas like An actor raphsody, Dong Lan Xue, Elder princess on top, or even that one here (that is between short and standard) got that. I conclude that too much censorship can be a pain fir art but if those standard cdramas PDs had enough care and passion for what they do while being limited by censorship they would give us much more good dramas with a variety of actors and varied types of characters (especially female leads)

You mean to tell me that Zhuang Han, who plays every main characters questionable dads/authocratic emperors/baddie ministers in short underground dramas is a late 94'ER (I had to double check maybe they meant 84) ??? π³π€― WHAT ??? I though he was Yuan Hong generation !!! Damn ! He f.cking played Huang Jing Zu dad in Cheng Xi song and they are only 4 years apart. Guys I am gonna support those BiliBili editing creators. I have been watching those edits they did with Liu Yi Fei, Chen Xing Xu (GMP) and Wu Lei as leads and damn those slap ! I want them in a show now.

It ticks all of the cases that make an interesting chinese drama for me by today's standard. For example female lead look is a reminiscence of Vicky Zhao type of beauty (which is not the popular thing nowadays), something very old school 00's about her and her stance. I hope she stays away from dumbo dumbsh.t cdramaland FLs. I wished they picked a stronger ML actor though the supporting Male actors are very good. One of the person behind this show is an internet contents creator (now I understand why this show works) and the crew members used their skills and what they got to give us the most interesting cdrama airing now. More and more of those short and/or kind of "underground" dramas show us one don't necessarly need a lot of money nor big names to make a good show that can gain traction and a good natured female lead does not necessarly equal childish annoying slap worthy dumbo with a whiney voice.
