Even when she plays 21 or 18 she is written smart and elegant with a dash of naivety and ìnnocence. So far the best female lead in cdramaland this year.

My personal opinion this is a case of circle time travel where the ML went back in time before at different time perìods of the FL from when she was 18 til 36. It ended up in tragedy. When he came to his univers he forgot about all of this. Then he went back but this time it was the reverse (from 36 til 18).
I personally believe this is the best cdrama of this year so. I know ML actor is not strong but his character is written in such a way you can only cheer for him. I also like how cause of that circle time travel the ancient people are not the ones oblivious to the situation but on the contrary they know more than the main character coming from the future. The 8.4 ratings on Douban are deserved. For a low budget drama the visual is decent and the fighting scenes are very good.
Why bringing debauchery to everything ? They should have stuck with the Prince dealing with diplomatic matters in his palace hotel room or getting to know traditional elegant korean culture and it would have still been impactful ! Sorry but the bar and drinking part was unnecessary lol
It is not always necessary to show bar and drinking culture in dramas. They should have stuck with the "lavish and dignified representation" concerning the prince. Why bringing debauchery on that story arc too ? It was uncalled for.
