I tend to like quality. I don't give a shit if I am your fan or if you are popular. If your drama sucks I will say it and drop it. I love Xuan Lu but she has been wasted in supporting roles in forgettable boring sh.ts. I am not a fan of YangZi but this one here I acknowledge the good work so far. They are both fantasy shows that aired in summer and got some appealling love story between the leads. Certain points in common reason why I said that. Otherwise the other dramas I like to talk about a lot are Reset, An Ancient Love Song or Dong Lan Xue. I mention Blood of youth at times as well

Lol I don't badmouth other quality shows. An Ancient Love Song got praised from me and Joy Of Life and Longest day in Chang'an are some of my fav cdramas around😊 Actually Reset is my fav cdrama of 2022 followed by LBFAD
What makes this show works for me is the relationshup between Deng Wei character and YangZi's. This endearing and there a lot of love btw them. You can only get love from that pair. It does not look forced at all.

Lol one could see how sleepwalking she was in that awful sh.t. Sorry but after Battle of Changsha she has been unimpressive bordeline annoying in her dramas popular or not. Lol after battle of changsha she has been coasting tho. This one here is a good arrival for her for sure. She needs to stay away from those sh.tty cheerful childlike roles she has been doing for those last 10 years
