Those small underdogs cdramas show what has been plaguing the standard cdrama world lately : the lack of passion, the obsession for money and making certain actors/actresses big because they got strong backers while licking the *ss of already big but stagnant "stars". This results in the lack of uniqueness. A lot blames censorship for it of course but I cannot help but see a great deal of lazyness so lack of creative.
Yeah at first I thought he was inept and ineffective but in truth, my expectation was just wrong. Of course with…
Another thing I noticed by ep 6 or 7 ML acting shows progress as an actor by stoping that slightly-opened-mouthed expression. Usually an habit personal to the actor. His lips are kept close and his expressions are more relaxed (I think he got into character around that time) which makes it easier to express the character sorrow, sadness and desperation to the T on episode 9. Talking about episode 9 I absolutely loved that one : acting all around = *chefkiss. Perfect episode for me. That drama deserves high score.
Yes he is great in portraying a very mature minister
From what I have seen he always plays old despotic characters. Guy is younger than the likes of Song YiRen but he can plays her father onscreen with no problem.
I really really loved the concept of this show, and I like how much everything falls into place as you watch it.…
Lol her bro is a whole snack. Idol type of appeal but not completely a flower boy. His death I cannot watch it. And how before he died he opens his eyes to sense his sister presence one last time before collapsing.
Yeah at first I thought he was inept and ineffective but in truth, my expectation was just wrong. Of course with…
And he was smart ! Like he was able to decipher a lot of things quickly. I liked that about the character. I also like how the emperor was not always the way they showed us the 1st time he appeared. He was a young and maybe hasty emperor but who knew wrong from right and wanted to do good. I guess something was done to him by minister which turned him into an adult acting like a 5 year old (still watching on Viki). Huang Jing Zhou that interpreted the emperor role is starting to gain traction on BiliBili as well.
I cried at several instances during the drama. Those characters, you just wanna dive deep into them. The ML is well written sure acting ain't so strong but with time he gets better and you can't help but cheer for him to find a solution and save the day. Best cdrama of summer. Fighting scenes = well done !
The ML actor played one of the most interesting characters in "blood of youth". He was playing the "mentor" of that spoiled brat kiddo. He looks so different with facial hair I did not recognised him !
