Huang Jing Zhou is genuinely not a bad actor

There is "Eldest princess on top" and the ongoing "Dong Lan Xue" that I like so far. In Dong Lan Xue, as someone stated before, both ML and FL are deliciously dark. Meanwhile in "Eldest princess on top" (you will find all episodes on youtube subbed) we are facing the case of a domineering attractive princess and cutie
ML that gladly accepts "his job" (only in Kaishou mini cdrama).
So far this year cheng Xi's song is my favourite costume cdrama even before the solid and good looking "Blood of youth" that aired in dec 2022. And the reason is the chemistry between the OTP and the way FL is written here is miles ahead of a bigger dramas with bigger budget like Blood of youth (I couldn't stand the male lead love interest there). And for a pleasant and delicious FL makes a huge difference in cdramaland.
And now I am hooked on "Dong Lan Xue" hopefully drama quality will not decrease.

Mini dramas have been doing the job their bigger counterparts have been failing to do gloriously : writting Female leads as your seductive and cunning hollywood 1940's "femme fatale". And boy is that relationship dirty (boy started clapping his stepmom cheeks when his dad was still alive) but you just cannot look away -Hormones everywhere. But to be fair girl is a manipulator. And Huang Jing Zhou can lowkeye emote . His acting is not bad actually.
