Well said ! Some of those Tik Tok ultra short dramas show us a lot of those mediocre standard cdramas are just waste of money. They even write better female leads You should check on the drama "Cheng Xi's song". You find the subbed version on dailymotion. The chemistry and sensuality of the OTP in Cheng xi's song put all of your traffic-actors-filled-expensive-cdramas' to shame.

Lool Jihoon looked like the maknae of the trio. His body is in the more imposing side as well reason why at such a young age he must probably be convincing at playing young general. He reminds me of Chen Xing Xu who looked more mature than his real age when Goodbye My Princess aired (he was 22 and looked 30) and has a deep voice or Vincent jiao who acted villain at 19/20 in Fong Sai Yuk opposed Jet Li (who was in his early 30's back in the day) and was very convincing as a mature late Qing dynasty official. Actors like that can play wide range of characters agewise, can be paired up with older actresses and can play villain or goodie roles.
Checking this drama now. Lol Those Tik Tok ultra short mini shows write more alluring FLs than all of those expensive full of traffic actors dramas 😅. Another plus side is their costume and hair pieces. Those Tik Tok shows are 1st and foremost Hanfus exhibitions. Hopefully through this shows (Eldest princess above/Cheng Xi's song or this one up here) those hanfus sell well. Also nice fighting scenes and nice imagery (especially the scene with the snow).
