For me if the supporting roles are only annoying tools I'd rather them to focus on the main leads. But if the supporting roles are respected like in Joy Of Life, Reset or lately Love between Fairy and Devil, I completely agree with you.

OMG ! No wonder they ended up losing it all. TVB is so dead now ! I also agree on another thing. They didn't try and nurture new talents the way China does. Had they done some reforms I am thinking they would have easily been ahead of China and even some actors would have worked with them for good quality contents and growth. Indeed even with all of that money one can easily see the flaws of China ent industry qualitywise. Example : look at the type of FLs characters and actresses that have been dominating lately. Lin Yu Shen has the best acting in the drama imo. Every emotions can be felt through his eyes without him moving too many muscles on his face (indeed he is a stoic fighter). When he is about to kill you can see it. When he is subtletly happy you can see it. When he is disappointed you can see it. When he is suspiscious you can see it. When he has respect for you, you can see it. He knows how to project things without trying too hard.
