I can't help but feel sometimes he got the hots for her in the BTS I have seen of them. The way he looks at her one can see he finds her really adorable and loved working witg her.

She is absolutely gorgeous here. Her agency should stop limiting her to the same whinny comfort roles and get her that minguo mature sensual character she wants ! I mean with that body (her bodytype reminds me of Liu Yi Fei's) and pretty face and nice hair she would be gorgeous in a Qipao playing role similar to SongYi's in the 2015 hit "The disguiser" paired with the hot and hot-voiced Wang Kai.

It shows that the team could have done better when writting but they went the easy road.

And another thing I wanna add, unless his agency goes TS (BAP agency in kpop) on his career Zhang Ling He will go far. Very very far (he is a walking piece of art). Not only am I into his character since the begining but I just wanna applaud his acting in the drama. People being enamoured with DFQC (who wouldn't) are overlooking the work this boy is putting here. He will go far.

Yu Xu Xin being good at dubbing, I wish for her next xianxia to not talk like a two year old. Granted her character developed a lot after the mortal act and as someone pointed out that development was done in front of us seamlessly. She has always been brave before (look at the way she wanted to pass her examination in the fairy world even people were laughing at her) and a hardworker. But now she is in deep love and saw different sides of the three realm. My only pet peeve will still be I really really wished I was a huge fan of fairy orchide and enamoured with her from the get go to even more savour their burning love now where they are doing everything right (look at their hands and bodylanguage) acting like a real couple in front of that beautiful background (this show is a moving painting) and all of that development we see in her now. And I blame the writting that lacked balance and went the easy cdrama toddler FL.

Lord I can't stop thinking about this drama. I am obsessed 😳. Yang Chao Yue and dingYu hope for their next drama success must have risen like hell now cause this team here is the same behind theirs and they did a dangit job with what they have. And I am sure their love seven times will be a hit looking at the effect this show has on me. Plus from the lil snippet I saw about it Yang Chao Yue voice is not your typical grating toddler one (wait and see tho but I feel her voice will be the normal teenage type).
Another thing I want to applaud about this drama and I always forget, the outfits of Fairy orchide especially the moon one. Wow !! I am blinded by their beauty. This drama makes you like beauty and totally sucks you into its univers. I can't believe it's a new team with limited budget that did that. I am on my ass.
The last drama that was occupying my mind like that day and night was "Joy Of Life". The way the supporting roles were fleshed out and are not just tools but people with their own experiences and layers (DanYin, Rong Hao, XunFeng, ChangHeng, The moon women, etc...) is a reminescence of what made Joy Of Life probably one of the best Asian dramas around (still think JOL is the superior one cause of several things).
LBaDF is the dark horse of 2022.

I read fairy Siming (Li Yi Tong) has her own book as well and is paired with a powerful dragon that fought DFQC twice.

Don't worry I am with about her reaction when she was told about her clan being slaughtered by Moon Supreme (which is a lie). Her reaction "I don't know them" reaction felt dry and cold to me. I was like "wow girl ! They changed you into an orchide to save your ass so you can enjoy that love with hot demon". Be more sensitive girl even you try and follow your heart ! Teen hormones eh !
I will be honest with you. I am not really thrilled by the FL cause of this obsession of cdramas makers of making every freaking FLs talk like they are toddlers just to shove down our throats their innocence. I understand why bad boy ML would fall for her though. She is a cute pouty baby fairy that was adamant in waking his emotions with a pouty face, hellfire be damned. Therefore I worry more about Moon people safety now rather than all of that sappy let's-suffer-in-the-name-of-lurvve lovestory that has been redundant in the
latest episodes. So now how the moon people will be saved from Fairies attacks ? Shawty will have to sacrifice herself (same old story). No wonder XunFeng was the highlight lately. Guy is saying the exact same thing I expressed in the earlier episodes.

She is a teen in love. Hormones are kicking you know. So I can understand her. I get your views as well because since the earlier episodes it was my grip about the whole waking-his-emotions-up (the FL was adamant in doing so) and I expressed it here to the disatisfaction of certain persons here. Waking his emotions = moon people future in jeopardy. Reason why the character that shined the most in ep 29 and 30 was XunFeng. I want the Moon clan and the FL's original clan to get justice and XianXia NATO I called "Fairy Clan" to face all of the troubles they created.

Dylan next costume drama is with Yukee Chen. He plays a fake enuch in it. From the pics I have seen he looks good in it as well. Hopefully Yukee will pleasantly surprise me and the team behind that project is passionate for their job as well

Oh ! I was wondering about Douban ratings. 7.7 is kinda fair ratings. Drama is good still standard.
The fact they fleshed out the supporting roles is a big plus.

I feel after her sacrifice there is kinda a spell actioned by XLH spirit maybe and that manages to suck DFQC into it to live happily ever after love. I guess this is a last desperate way for her to stay with him since in the real life she is not fated to be with him. But DFQC being aware of it makes the decision to leave that dream and make sure she comes back from death. XLH knowing that being alive means she can't stay with him tries her best to make him changes his mind and stay in the dream she must probably created for both of them far from obstacles.
