I am surprised by the ratings honestly. I found episodes 7 to 9 kinda not satisfying. It picks up for me by episode 10

It is not perfect but I think people were craving for a pair of a MAN and a WOMAN (at last), no dubbing (natural speeches), decent plot

If we compare with her younger version. She’s indeed weighing now. But she ‘s still awesome.
I personally believe she looks more enticing now. I used to be cold towards her before even I could see why people were praising her look. I think now she knows how to use her eyes better and she has got more s*x appeal. Plus round face is a sign of youthfulness. I like her cheeks

The thing with most early 20's to mid 20's actors dominating Cdramas is when they are paired together they kinda lack s*x appeal. Even when they kiss sth is lacking for me. The thing that made YBY and CY CP in their drama is cause they are more mature in real life and both in their early 30's.

Spoiler I found ep 7 and 8 kinda unsatisfying cause Ouyang Xu character takes too much scenes. I was craving for Main characters scenes. But I guess they have to explain where Ouyang Xu comes from

I am happy they are paired now cause LYF matured as an actress and is less distant flower vase now. She can generate chemistry with an actor like Chen Xiao.
