I'll be the lone voice in the wilderness ... I enjoy Avenue X's reviews, even if I often do not agree with them.…
My issue with Avenue X, as a public reviewer on youtube is that biased behaviour. You can't be screaming everywhere the importance of line delivery and voice acting making that a big deal in term of assessing the craft of an artist and once you have to describe the performance of someone you feel hostile to, you go completely silence cricket sounds because said person is most probably doing a solid job (and by all accounts I read on rednote he does a more than decent job). I even find this discriminating a bit.
On her review of The Double she literally implied he (Wang Xing Yue) wasn't dubbing himself (and there is no way she didn't know he was actually doing that) when she was corrected about it and asked to give credits where it is due, she then on her next livestream video came up with her typical low-blow ranting against him stating he should play the character a certain way which shows that he is a bad actor when in really the way she wants the character to be portrayed has nothing to do with how the character is written in the original novel so the drama adaptation.
Sorry but anybody that sees that can smell the hypocritical stance concerning a specific actor.
As a public reviewer with her knowledges I feel uneasy about it.
Avenues is a troll I stopped watching ages ago bc she is so long winded, nasty and boring. I remember she is particularly…
She said she doesn't have big issues against him but the way she talks and her bodylanguanges say "I wish you sucked so I would have dragged you everywhere". She definitely has prejudice against him.
When you says "forced acting" you mean Yu Shu Xin/Zhao LuSi unnatural over-the-top type of acting or you…
Of course. He still got things to learn. Sorry if I sounded offending but this is because majority of the time those two actresses' acting style screams "forced" or "unnatural". So they have become the template of that kind of acting

What I find funny is how she has been preaching about the sad state of the industry today is also due to the fact that a lot of young stars today are not trained actors and how she is all about the importance of voice acting but when it concerns a certain actor that she hates for apparently no reason, she remains silent because she doesn't wanna give credit. I find this low
Have you noticed too that AX is smitten by LYN? She says only good things about him. She turns his negatives into…
She definitely is. She likes Liu Yu Ning as much as she dislikes Wang Xing Yue. With the latter she definitely wants to rant on him, I always feel a strong hostility coming from her. But because "he is not so bad" as she puts it herself she cannot trash it completely. People would see something is wrong with. So she uses the usual low-blow rant tactical using a lot of negative sentences showing how she wishes he was terrible so she could have trashed him to the highest level. She talked too much about voice acting, has made such a big deal out of it, praising the likes of Yu Shu Xin and trashing many for her to be silent whenever Wang Xing Yue is unvolved. Now imagine LYN was doing the job WXY did in "The Double" and "TWD" showing explosive presence and great lines delivery while facing veterans, she would have talked about how good he is non stop, praising him to the firmanent. Among the traffic idol actors active now and that we all know Wang Xing Yue is worst than whom ?
This is a 7.5 drama for me.The overall idea and plot was fine but it lacked in details. there were so many plot…

I have just seen avenue x review of the drama and her view pretty much aligns with the crowd who dropped the show very early on. We also had the usual low blow to Wang Cing Yue performance as in "He is not the best idol actor now but he is definitely not worst" you know the usual use of negative sentences which highlight the deep hostility and right after that she states "he is aware he is the male" using a picture of early Xiao Beming when he was still his arrogant & boastful self again to mislead her followers that he is a bad actor. There is also no detail assessment of the line delivery . Wang Xing Yue can make this lady silent about voice acting and line delivery skills. This boy is definitely a gem for that industry. She said she stopped watching around the time Feng Qing Zuo character's background started coming up on the surface (without giving the exact episode which is unlike her) but I suspect based on her detailed rant that she probably stopped around episode 9 or 10. She ranted about Julia Xiang not shining in costume drama or being unappealing/overshadowed in costume show. But whenever Cnetz voice their opinions on how they dislike Liu Yu Ning in their costume dramas and they find him unattractive she can't help and express how shallow she thinks said CNetz are as if she doesn't do the same for other actors/actresses.
