I like how Mu Qingyuan’s character grew on me! At first, I didn’t think much of him as he wasn’t shown to be the all powerful Demon Lord as is usually done but as I got to know him, I find him so alluring! And Cai Zhao is such a perfect partner for him - she doesn’t take his nonsense and at the same time, is so devoted to him.

Absolutely! I loved today’s episode where we see a parallel between Zhengyang and Qingyuan. I loved how Cai Zhao was able to understand him better after she heard the uncle’s story and used that as an example to show Qingyuan what could happen if he continued on this path.

I think he can’t help it - he’s had to be cunning and a step ahead of everyone all his life just to survive so he doesn’t think he’s doing anything wrong by using everyone as a pawn in his plans. He worships his father and knows his mother was a very self-centered person only looking after her own interests so its no surprise he’s turned out to be a mix of both his parents.

Ditto. I think he does strong, tender ML better than anything else (like Maiden Holmes or even Princess Royal). I prefer him here than in his brooding, anti-villain era or as the dude-who-didn’t-get-the-girl, the-dude-who-didn’t-think-he-desrved-the-girl, etc 😀
Cheng Xing Xu has such a beautiful face! He does arrogance and haughty so well without coming across as a jerk. Smirks look so good on him !! Another character I love after Shao Dian You Qin!

I just finished it. And then went and rewatched eps 1&2 cos I loved it so much and wanted to go back to their first meeting. My gosh its now become one of my fav dramas and Neo MingHao is brilliant and has given me another fictional man to swoon over LOL! And don't even get me started on Lu YuXiao! How does she even get those emotions out of her?! Anyhooos long story short, its brilliant! As with any drama of this genre, it has it moments with unwanted villains cropping up and self-sacrifice and noble idiocy etc but even that is minimal compared to say a blood-vomitting Cheng Yi (who I also love!) drama :) I really do hope you give it a chance :)

Okay! Ho! Boy was I wrong! I started this this morning cos l was watching The Unclouded Soul but wasn’t really feeling it but am absolutely loving Glory and wanted something to watch while waiting for new episodes and I am now on ep11 of this and it’s only getting better! So turns out I was right - I was severely influenced by The Fated Hearts and that was why the whole touchy-feeling thing threw me off! But now I think that she is AMAZING and I am loving her and he is sizzling and they are brilliant together! And their chemistry is so sensual!! So glad I gave it another chance 😃
