It's all about the family. And we can sympathize with the villains, they are human and they have reasons. It's…
The manipulations and games are mind boggling! I can't even begin to imagine how they would have gone to sleep in peace (and I am sure things like this still happen in families that have positions of power)
I understand that this is mainly a war of wits between the Queen and the Queen Dowager but I'm actually still a bit confused about why the QD wants to depose of the King's sons..she wants to maintain his position in power, which I get, but why does she think that his sons by the legitimate queen are not worthy?
Also, in the end, it is ironic that the one grand prince the QD wanted to turn into the CP is actually the bloodline of the CP she killed to bring her son into power!
And - did the current CP and his Princess actually do the deed that night?! That not/pregnancy is aaaagghh!!!! What is the reality?
What a sweet, sweet romantic story. This is what a healthy relationship looks like...where they each grow as people and inspire each other to be the best versions of themselves. And how they influence the people around them to become better people too! So much support and acceptance and encouragement and positivity. What true families should be like :) I also enjoy their petty squabbles and insecurities which shows that relationships can be imperfect and still be healthy depending on how the people involved react and deal with issues. The deep friendship between YZ and LW is so heartwarming...they have the space to discuss everything and support each other. And they also hold space for each other's emotions, too. So much respect and care. I am smiling throughout :)
And I love how they maintained the pace throughout the episodes without any petty misunderstandings and what not separating YZ & LW . All the relationships around them seem to be falling apart but they both engage in so much conversation to check in how they're feeling and doing to be sure they're always on the same page. Le sigh....
nobody thinks GP SungNam will get the position easily, moreover after yesterday's episodes I do have a doubts…
I think this angle of Seongnam being better than everyone else is kind of played out on purpose? He has the advantages of having grown up outside the palace (which has given him a different perspective to what the citizens need and made him street smart), the direct tutelage of his older brother, not being interested in all the crazy palace politics and, the trust and support of his parents - which kind of makes his stand out from all the other princes imho. He is fighting for the CP's crown for a reason that is not because he or his mother is power hungry, like with the other princes. I still have my reservations about whether he will become the CP eventually but it's fun to see him being so earnest about it :)
Why was Prince Seongnam forced to grow up outside the palace when his younger brothers did not receive the same…
I think it was the grandmother Queen Dowager's way of showing her control over the Queen. He was taken away almost immediately after birth and I have a feeling the Queen was quite timid and 'proper' back then. She seems to have grown into who she is today because of the Queen Dowager's nasty tricks.
I think the love line between chungha and seongnam is a little forced and too cringe. I hope they show great chemistry…
I think she has a developmental disability which is why she is so...impulsive and child like. I think her parents did mention something to that effect when she was first introduced.
Anlly!!! I am on ep7 and I am already in love! And the pain will be even more because of how deeply I feel for…
I do!!! His gaze says so so much! And you can see how much he treasures Shi Yi right from when he met her. And I love his dynamics with his army and the other generals. They have so much love and respect for him and he has definitely earned it.

I am wondering if DD doesn’t feel any affinity towards the spirit people because she hasn’t recovered any memories per se and just her powers as the Saintess? And there was a lot going on with LY’s death and ressurection, her powers weakening etc to actually focus any time on her Saintess origins. Also, her family keeps treating her as DD even though they’ve found out that she is not the actual one.
I am a bit confused by LY’s treatment of DD after he confessed to her and came to terms with his feelings etc. I don’t see him showing how he feels for her and I am trying to understand if he seems distant and standoffish because he is from a different era and she’s too forceful/aggressive/in-your-face for him? He did lose Yun Shi the first time before he could deal with what he felt for her and meeting this different version of her might be still something he’s getting used to perhaps? Or, is it because he is compartmentalizing and simply focusing on the task/s at hand and leaving the lovey-doveyness for later? 🤷🏻♀️
On my side, I'm really enjoying this drama too. It's really relaxing, easy, and fun to watch, the pace is good,…
Absolutely! The humour is right up my alley 😂 Simple and lightning quick retorts! I am also enjoying their joint efforts at catching the villains. Even the physical comedy is such fun. Deng Deng and female Dahai are such a hoot! 😂😂

Also, I HAVE to say, Allen’s voice makes a HUGE difference to his role. I don’t think he would have made such an impact with his original voice tbh.
