People hate the ending because there are so many loopholes and questions not answered and the way the ML brought…
They show him hitting the edge of the rock as he fell into the sea/ocean BUT no broken bones or anything?! And recovery after a week?!?? Medical miracles on another level. And his shirt just had some blood on the edge of his collar. What???
People are angry cause it doesn't make sense not because it's not "happy" ending.
That’s the thing right there. I was so engrossed up until ep 15 (even though even 15 was super rushed) and then, whoosh! Ep 16 just blows it all away. I can also accept Do Joon and Hyun Woo with similar faces cos we’re seeing events unfold through Hyun Woo’s eyes and he has never seen what Do Joon looks like BUT to suddenly say that they both indeed DID look alike (and no one else saw it!) and that one was involved in the death of the other but chose to stay silent until he couldn’t find another way out for himself?! I mean, I could have accepted it IF they made it so that Hyun Woo wasn’t aware that the person who died in the accident was Do Joon and was suddenly triggered to remember it cos of the driver cum secretary or something.
I’m curious about the ending of the novel… what actually happens?! Ep 16 felt like a blur to me as all I could…
Man!!!!! Really????? I feel so damn deprived now 😩. What was this rubbish of him pulling out a 20 year old recording from under a plant??? I was like “Oh! Dis phones have recording abilities back then? But why would ge record it?” etc etc
wahhhh the ending was a copout, and resulted in too many plot holes and inconsistencies. Diverting from the novel,…
I’m curious about the ending of the novel… what actually happens?! Ep 16 felt like a blur to me as all I could focus on was whether Do Jun and Hyun Woo actually look alike or not!!!!
But yeah, the drama overall was really gripping. I enjoyed the mind games and the constant one-upmanships! The grandfather is such a character!
Superb drama, perfectly cast actors - best ensemble troop of 2022 , interesting plot with all its twists and turns.…
I think when I saw that the romance was actually between Do Jun and Min Yeong, it made sense to me. Like a friend said, the romance gives Do Jun sort of an anchor to hold on to so as to not become another cynical, destructive, vindictive member of the Soonyang family and that fits.
The lookalike was symbolic, because Do Jun has never seen the present Hyun Woo, so he still sees Hyun Woo of present…
Le sigh. Yup it looks like it was him…especially at the end of ep 16 now. I am not sure how to feel about this now 🫤 Why did no one recognise him/them?!???
The lookalike was symbolic, because Do Jun has never seen the present Hyun Woo, so he still sees Hyun Woo of present…
Ep 3. I think? I remember I zoomed in and checked and it did seem different than Song Joong Ki’s face. It made me think that it was perhaps CEO Mason’s perspective.
Its Hyun Woo killing Do Jun. BUT they do not look alike - we only think so cos we’re seeing this from Hyun Woo’s perspective and he doesn’t know what the original Do Jun looks like 🙂
It’s interesting- Hyun Woo’s soul from the present has gone back into the body of Do Jun. I guess that works as Do Jun was never alive past the first accident. And now that he’s done what he was reborn to do, Do Jun’s body must die for Hyun Woo’s soul to go back to its original body in the original timeline. The two timelines cross at the point of the second accident.
I am curious to know what kind of life Hyun Woo leads in the timeline of the past. Does he get caught for killing Do Jun? Was he paid by someone to make the kill? Did he do it cos he was mad at them for his mother’s death?

Also, if I remember right, wasn’t the reflection of Do Jun different from Hyun Woo’s face in the scene where he’s talking to CEO Mason? The reflection in the window glass at the end of the episode where they’re looking out at the Soonyang building. I think that scene was a reminder for the viewers.
I did wish the end of ep 15 showed us Do Jun’s face but then, like you said, Hyun Woo has no clue what he looks like and since we’re seeing things from Hyun Woo’s pov, we won’t see it either.
Yes that could be a good theory. I mean i get they hate each other and wanted to keep a secret that they are sibling…
Maybe the girl who got pregnant by O Sung was actually Ji Hyun and she made the other girl who transferred to take the blame or something to keep up appearances.
I think the killer is Jaebum's twin brother. The one Jaebum said died of heart disease, I think he's still alive…
Sounds very interesting! Jae Beom does talk about looking in the mirror and not knowing who he was looking at.
Or, there never was a twin and Jae Beom has DID/MPD and the twin with the heart disease is a story made up as part of his treatment (twin is dead so the 'other' Jae Beom is too).
I feel like Soo Heon's brother's death is significant somehow? If the timeline works, Jae Beom was probably witness to it and his DID/MPD was re-triggered. Maybe Jae Beom killed the fellow in the auto shop cos he was part of the bully gang? (I need to go back and pay better attention to this storyline cos I wasn't as invested when I saw it back then hahahah! So this just might be a figment of my overactive imagination IF the timeline is all out of whack!)
Seems like Won Seok was killed because he saw or knew something (reason why his phone was taken). Maybe Won Seok recorded someone being bullied or saw it and didn't say anything? Which is what made Jae Beom go after him? If he was with Chan Mi on the day Jae Beom was in an accident, then someone else harmed Jae Beom. Some bullying was going on and Jae Beom stepped in and he was harmed instead. I feel like his 'coma' again is a way for him to forget what happened, like the twin story. Gi O Sung definitely knows something ...

"I am glad it is not you I was supposed to marry. I would have felt some regret if it was" LOL
